Omfg THANK YOU. I mean my fingers say FU, but that was pure awesome. Solo’d over this twice, back to back, non srop 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻. This is really great, thank you soooo much.
I can bang my head as hard as I want while I drive from Bonnyville Alberta to Cold Lake with the speakers cranked to the max, or drag out the old axe and jam til my fingers bleed. Totally love this!!!
Try going the whole time without repeating yourself, you can find yourself doing all kinds of odd stuff around the neck, like soloing in D minor at the 3rd fret. I also discovered that if you solo in G major pentatonic it sounds like Southern rock....
@@lawrencehall1235 Yeah, Gm pentatonic works well because the minor third of G is the minor 6th of D, adds a nice darker tone. Also there's some cool licks to be had sliding back and forth between Dm pentatonic at the 10th fret and Gm pentatonic at the 15th, with a crazy amount of swing like EVH might do!
hello, youtube blocked that video in some contrys due to copyright issues, for some reason they think that the backing track is the original pink floyd music and block it, im trying to fix it right now. thanks for the info
I’m still a beginner, but really love the long tracks.... it gives you plenty of time to find your groove..... here’s my improv solo over top of this track: ua-cam.com/video/HgEZtBk5VGE/v-deo.html
Broke all my strings, played for 20 minuets. Did an amazing solo with bends that reached to godamn ceiling! Worth it

Perfection! Gilmour's solo is beyond great but the back up elevates it to other worldly.
