    Hi. Brilliant video!
    Do you have to check in again on connecting flights? If so, is it straightforward and similar to the initial check in process?
    Thanks in advance.

      Hi there! Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching the video! 😊
      When it comes to connecting flights, the process of checking in again can vary depending on a few factors, such as the airline, airport, and your final destination. In most cases, when you have a layover and your connecting flight is with the same airline or a partner airline, you might not need to go through the full check-in process again. This is especially true if your baggage is checked all the way through to your final destination.
      Instead, you'll typically receive your boarding passes for all segments of your journey when you initially check in. Then, after your first flight, you might just need to follow the signs for 'Connecting Flights' or 'Transfers' at the airport. You'll likely need to go through security screening again, but you usually won't need to re-check your baggage.
      However, if you have a long layover or your connecting flight is with a different airline that isn't part of an alliance or partnership, you might need to go through a separate check-in process.
      Remember, it's always a good idea to check with the airline or the airport's official website for specific details about your connecting flight and the check-in process. This can help ensure a smooth and stress-free connection experience.
      Hope this helps! Safe travels and enjoy your journey! ✈️🌍 If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Thanks again for watching the video!"

    im flying from bahrain and will have a stop over for 6hrs at dubai airport terminal 3 and it says in my itenerary that i will be flying on the exact same plane going to manila..my question is do i need to go out from the plane or just stay inside..btw the airline is emirates..its my 1st time to go home with stop over

      Hi @arseniabenesa5752,
      It's great to hear that you'll be flying with Emirates and having a stopover in Dubai! In most cases, when your itinerary states that you'll be on the same plane going to your final destination, you typically won't need to disembark the aircraft during the layover.
      Dubai International Airport, especially Terminal 3, is designed for seamless transit, and Emirates is known for its smooth connection services. You should be able to stay inside the plane and relax during your 6-hour stopover.
      That being said, I have not heard of any airline asking passengers to stay inside the plane for 6 hours during a layover. The usual process is that upon arriving at Dubai Airport, you would disembark, proceed through security within the same building (Terminal 3), and then check the departure screens to find your gate for the final destination. You would then make your way to that gate and board the next plane for your ultimate destination. However, since your ticket specifically mentions staying on the same plane, it's essential to confirm this with the airline staff when you arrive at the airport during the check-in process.
      Please also note that if all your flights are with Emirates, your luggage should be checked through to your final destination, and you won't need to collect it during the layover.
      Enjoy your journey and safe travels! If you have any more questions or need assistance with your Dubai stopover, feel free to ask.

    After arriving at intermediate destination do you need to do security and immigration before catching connecting flight. What is the procedure?

    • @HZFamilyShowOfficial
      @HZFamilyShowOfficial  3 місяці тому

      Hi @shwetaj4825!
      Thank you for reaching out with your question. When it comes to Dubai Airport as an intermediate destination during a connecting flight, the procedure typically involves going through security but not necessarily immigration. This means that if Dubai is your layover point, you would likely only need to pass through security checks before continuing on your journey.
      Immigration processes at Dubai Airport are generally reserved for passengers exiting the airport and entering the country. If you're simply connecting to another flight without leaving the airport, immigration is typically not required.
      However, it's always advisable to double-check with airline staff or airport authorities upon arrival for the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding your specific situation.
      Safe travels, and I hope this helps clarify things for you!

    In a layover is it written on the boarding pass that your next flight is from which gate??

    • @HZFamilyShowOfficial
      @HZFamilyShowOfficial  11 місяців тому +1

      Great question! If you're getting your next flight boarding pass from outside the Dubai, gate numbers might not always be displayed on the boarding passes. Once you arrive in Dubai, I recommend checking the screens at the airport. They'll show the flight destinations and corresponding gate numbers. Even if your gate number is printed on your boarding pass, it's a good practice to double-check on the screens. Occasionally, gate numbers can change for various reasons. Thanks for watching and safe travels!

      @HZFamilyShowOfficial ok thanks but I am having layover of 8 hours at dubai.. so I think 8hrs before flight gate number is not displayed on screen

    • @HZFamilyShowOfficial
      @HZFamilyShowOfficial  11 місяців тому +2

      @armaanmathur2801
      Absolutely, you're on the right track! During an 8-hour layover at Dubai Airport, the gate number might not be displayed on screens until closer to the departure time. However, your boarding pass should indeed indicate the terminal for your next flight. Head to that terminal when you arrive. About 3 hours before your flight, check the departure screens as gate information should start to appear by then.
      Most of the time, the arrival and departure terminals are the same, but even if they're not, the airport is well-connected with internal transportation options. Just follow the signboards or ask any of the friendly staff for guidance. They're there to assist you and ensure a smooth transfer between terminals. Wishing you a comfortable layover and a pleasant onward journey! ✈️🌍
