Alfonso Cuarón es muy talentoso. La película Roma, ya la disfruté. Me dejo muchas emociones de todo tipo, desde coraje hasta ternura. Cada uno de sus personajes tan reales tan naturales. I agree, it would be nice for Mexican natives to have such opportunities. However, as a Mexican, I can say that that seems out of reach for probably any mexican native. The people who live the lives yalitza portrays have it really tough. Maids are paid abt 300 dollars a month, however they practically live with the family they work with (they get fed, have their own room, shower, etc..). When I was growing up, we were a family of 5, we had a nannie raise us until we left for college. She was like a second mother to my younger siblings. My mom still visits the nannie who raised her in veracruz (we live in mexico city). We would gift ericka (our nannie) presents and I still remember this one time when we gave her a sweater and a cake and she began to cry, and I quote she said: "Its just no one has ever though abt me the way you guys do". These people live in houses with tinofold roofs, they are so often times raped, mistreated, they do not have educational opportunities, etc.. My parents got her daughter into school, she grew up with us, my parents are her godparents. There is so much classism in mexico, "the whites and the prietos", and yet we are an incredible force of unity amongst us. I guess that's what's so beautiful abt this film, the way it portrays the mexican life in its most genuine totality.

Muy buena la entrevista e interesantes los comentarios pero no podía dejar de ver a Yalitza. Aún fuera del escenario transmite esa calidez y sencillez humana, es 100% auténtica. Creo que ahí radica el gran éxito de Cuaron, saber esperar por meses hasta encontrarse con los personajes ya existentes de la película.
La mayoría de la mujer indígena es muy hermosa, si a esas mujeres se les diera mejor educación y oportunidades serían unas fregonas en cualquier rama en que se desarrollen, aquí está el ejemplo 😍😍😘

Ahora ella esta estudiando en una universidad de aqui, para ser maestra tambien. Domina tres lenguas y ahora estudia portugues tambien. Y aparte de todo eso, es una persona maravillosa!

Muy buena la entrevista e interesantes los comentarios pero no podía dejar de ver a Yalitza. Aún fuera del escenario transmite esa calidez y sencillez humana, es 100% auténtica. Creo que ahí radica el gran éxito de Cuaron, saber esperar por meses hasta encontrarse con los personajes ya existentes de la película.
La mayoría de la mujer indígena es muy hermosa, si a esas mujeres se les diera mejor educación y oportunidades serían unas fregonas en cualquier rama en que se desarrollen, aquí está el ejemplo 😍😍😘

Ahora ella esta estudiando en una universidad de aqui, para ser maestra tambien. Domina tres lenguas y ahora estudia portugues tambien. Y aparte de todo eso, es una persona maravillosa!

Me encanta el pelo despelotado de Cuaron y la onda desestructurada que tiene. Aparte de talentoso, es buenmosisimo. Tantas veces yendo a Mexico y nunca vi un mexicano tan atractivo.
