    i have been a turk murphy fan since the 1950s. my favorite tune is "the gettysburg march but can't find it anywhere.

      Dave Marty played intermission banjo at McGoon's. His info can be Googled.

      The definitive answer would be in Turk's biography by Jim Goggin, "Just for the Record." Frank Haggerty was playing banjo with Turk in the 1960s, but it could also be Dave Wierbach or George Baker.

    Turk didn't care for Lloyd Byassee's playing. I think the only drummer he liked was Thad Vanden.
