Possibly carry large style rubber bands with you that have been dirtied so you can use them to add local / native grasses and leaves to your camo build , maybe paint the barrel crown a flat green / brown so it isn’t a black hole ?

I've been collecting the wrong kind apparently, mud moss, a guy saw me collecting it on the pavements near my house and instead of thinking I was absolutely mad he kindly pointed out where I can go to get some large chunks of the 'good stuff' as he put it lol; great lad, he explained the differences between tree moss and mud moss. I'm Irish (Dublin) too but live in Wales.
@@oldmansniper I was thinking of using matte clear not varnish, this is for my sniper collection rather than gameplay as I collect historical sniper replicas and just use them on my 30m indoor range, probably sacrilege to you! lol.

@@oldmansniper I'm sorry. For some silly reason I thought this was a tutorial for an AR Platform rifle not an airsoft one. My bad. IMHO this would most definitely not work on an AR 15 or similar rifle pattern. Sorry for the confusion.

It's an airsoft replica, no ejection port to worry about, I'm sure that could be figured out though.

Moss will dry out and eventually crumble but it's easy enough to replace and you can't beat the natural stuff on a wrap

I think it might add unwanted sheen/reflectivness (new word) worth experimenting with though.

Just found them in local shops, but novritch has very good leaves now and @akastaten is making some nice ones aswell.
what is all the materials? i Just got the Novritsch ssg10 a1 and i decided that i want to make my gun camouflaged
Burlap /hessian for the base, raffia, fake leaves to suit your environment, cable ties, hot glue or shoogoo,
