    Fact; the asparagus fern is not a true fern but is a type of climbing asparagus. Great content btw!

    I don't think that's a fern though, it looks like an Asparagus Plumoses, although the care is very similar. They don't like direct light, prefer lightly moist soil and a humid environnent. If the leaves turn yellow, it's getting too much light. If it isn't putting out new growth, it's not getting enough light. They are fast growers, and don't like wet feet. Too much water will end it fast.

      Thank you. I bought a small one last year and it grew fast. I love how they look that’s why I’ve started to transplant the new shoots.

    To me it's been an easy care plant. Live in humid England, kept it outdoors and indoors by the window didn't kick a fuss either way. Water it when I remember. No scorched yellow leaves it's been so easy care I barely pay it attention. Could be the climate though

    honestly this plant is very easy to take care of, at least for me. Just more than 50% humidity, bright light, and regular watering lol. I never have browning, dying leaves or anything and has grown WAY more than that in less that 3 months lmao

    • @nattynema
      @nattynema Рік тому

      @valleyoftears7741 yeah and no. It wouldn't be the same. I got big jars. If I use it upside down like a cloche my husband will always remove it cause it would be a falling glass hazard for the kids. Big jars are actually bottom heavy glasses do to the fact that they go in pressure cooker. Another reason I wouldn't is cause I use my Mason jar and big jars for food , oil and liquids. My teen will reach for it even in a high place and drop it. Cloche are light like plastic or at least wouldn't tip over cause the opening isn't lighter then the bottom. I got 14 small 2- 3 inch cloches and 5 medium 4-5 inch cloches. I prefer cloches or mishift things. The only thing I would buy to replace a cloche is a cake display or dessert carrier.

    • @jacobwood8523

      Cut it back and take it away from direct sunlight. Keep it watered every couple days they like moist soil, and perhaps get a misting spray. I take mine into the bathroom with me every time i shower and sit it down somewhere so it gets a touch of daily humidity
