Sir, 70% of your naration seems to be correct. Your conclusion view also appreciable. But some naration are completely wrong and bias. Eg.you have stated that Moreh incidents are ethnic cleansing and Imphal valley incidents is emotional only. But both incidents is ethnic cleansing. Violent is started by valley people's at centenary gate . Burnings are started by tribals at forest quarter and retaliate by valley people by burning tribal village with killing. As stated by Mr Pramode singh , ethinic cleasing program is already plan by the valley people and Govt of Manipur. As such all license gun was collected from all tribal village by the CM secondly, house to house door mark of kuki zo was carried out in imphal city for easy attack in any time. A well plan by the valley people is proof by hidding of many sophisticated weapons in cc pur khumujamba underground. However your naration is one of the most slightly reasonable to compare with other meitei community leaders.

Yes, some boys were seen with guns on may 3, but they were never part of the rally. The place where they were seen was near kangvai…they came because some Meitei goons lynched on man in Torbung area and ransacked the houses of rally-goers. Also the bishnupur commandos were shooting at the crowd with live bullets (also in Moreh). That’s why they came. You didn’t mention that a large amount of weapons and two syntax full of ammunition were recovered from the basement of that moirang guy who enriched himself in Lamka. What were they for? Mind you, on the very first night there were reports that more than 30 people were brought to the hospital with gunshot wounds in ccpur town itself. Who were these people wielding automatic weapons and killing us in our own town that night?
With regard to illegal immigration, the governments official number is only about 2000.
The increase of kuki population in ccpur in the past decades is due to naga- kuki conflict that led many to migrate there. If you speak about who speaks meiteilon and who don’t, go to naga areas and see. And meiteilon is not a criterion to be Indian citizen. How many meiteis were humble enough to learn kuki in moreh and ccpur if they are so friendly and peace loving? Increase in the voter list … YES…I agree with you. But it’s not due to immigration…it’s due tampering of voters list and also manipulation of household lists for MNREGS benefits…the government officials and politicians know this but they did nothing because they got huge commission out of it.
You are very knowledgeable person and I respect you. But no society is perfect. So, it’s good if intellectuals like you have guts to critique your own society as well. Why should the meiteis feel so insecure? In fact, these days no one is attacking them…it’s they who do (and die too). When a majority community is so radicalised and daily shouts about annihilating another community, and the government is okay with it…what option do the minorities have, than to be separated. Think about it. I know at this juncture you must speak what your radical overlords like to hear, but as I said, it will help to assess the problem from the other side as well.
But you surely agree with me on this. Before 3 May, the kukis were themselves suffering under their own militant groups…there was never a wholehearted support for Zalen-gam (land of freedom). In fact, the SoO groups had agreed to settle their issues without affecting the integrity of Manipur. But today, the kukis are the aggrieved party in this conflict…SoO or no SoO, the peoples demand for separate Administration will go on…the meiteis will laugh at it but it will unfortunately not stop till they become serious about it and correct the flaws of their own society.
