*Let’s talk covers! Lori I think that this one is one of my favorites. Starting from using a piece of your favorite jeans to a piece of a chandelier, to you sewing on the tiny beads and then sewing them from one to another and adding more texture! And the blue bow! Then the lusciousness of the flowers of the back cover! The flowers with the hand beaded gorgeous center and the pieces of tatting with the hand knotting in the center and the Tim Holtz quote. You had a drop the mic moment on this cover! This is a standing ovation cover! Seriously, This is my favorite cover of them all. I can’t even begin to imagine how much time went into this cover! It is utter perfection! As far as I am concerned, this cover belongs in a museum. You should be teaching at a collegiate level. You may not have had any formal art training, but you can teach the teachers. I leave it there! Standing ovation! This journal has brought me to tears! You are so much more than you know! Thank you for doing what you do. And hello sweet Louie! Happy New Year Lori! You are more! 😊❤
* There's so much work you put in the cover, it's beautiful! Your absolutely right, we should never be afraid to say it at loud of how proud we are on what we accomplish. It's not being conceited at all.

Beautiful! I'm sure many of us know what you were saying, as we get older we realize more is not always better, and hopefully we're getting smarter. I think we're too hard on ourselves! This shows me you put your whole heart and soul into your art!

I have to add more. It took me 3 try’s to watch all the way through. All of the yumminess, well I had to rest between servings. This overloaded my senses. It was like after the thanksgiving dinner. I kept coming back for more pie. Gosh this is amazing.

Very beautiful. I did love your story about the flowers on the cover and also your comments about allowing ourselves to say our work is beautiful. Sometimes I find that hard to do so I liked hearing your thoughts on that. Best wishes from Australia. *do you commission journals? Love this journal! When you spray a finish on the rusty bits, do they make them hard to put on? Those church tags are amazing.
