@@GiveitaGrow thank you 😊 🌱 Life has been so crazy I haven't been filming too much this past yr. Just starting to get back into the swing of things slowly but surely. I had to take some time off to rearrange and organize my plant collection because I have wayyy too many plants these days. I have added so many new things into my collection these past few years so it got a little bit overwhelming for a minute lol. Great seeing you again, cant wait to catch up on your videos 😊 Happy growing🌱
I just got one of these a month ago. I’m so excited for it to get this big! (Edit: please post an update when it acclimates to the new pot or anything happens with the leaves that broke off!)
Mine is a small baby bear's paw, just about 5 leaves and 2 tiny leaves on top. But I think it got sunburn, there is a tiny dark spot on one of the leaves. Pray hard that it will still grow beautifully and recover. 😂
Hey, I got the same plant and I noticed that the stems of mine got brown over time and the leaves of the lower part of the stems fell off. Now The lower part of the stems are basically "naked"... However, my plant developed some blossoms on the top! Any tips or help for diagnosis? Great videos btw.
Just bought one yesterday, and I already have a medium sized pot picked out for it. Is there a disadvantage to repotting from the 2in pot to a 4in pot right away? Is it necessary to let it develop more roots its initial plastic pot?
Also puts the plant in a shock and may harm it. I’ve practically killed plants by doing this because the plant falls apart when taking it out since it’s not root bound then breaks roots.. not worth it!
I have a bear paw (got it 2 months ago) it almost died (from lack of water) but i managed to get it to start sprouting new leaves but i noticed the stem is slightly turning brown. Does that mean it is forming root rot?
Pretty sure that's normal. The main stems will turn kind of wood-y as it grows. Mine is quite large (similar size to this but not as tall) and the biggest stems look like tree branches.
Great advice . I have plenty plants in my apartment that I will need to re transplant eventually. Check your Facebook messenger, I sent you a great video , things I'm sure you are already aware of , but this guy really puts it into perspective well. Happy fall!
Long time no see! It's so great to see you again, it's been a while. Love your bears paw. So cute! 🌱 Thanks for sharing. Love the video!
It has been a long time, thanks for stopping by. I see your channel has grown by leaps and bounds, congratulations!

I havent gotten that amount of growth having this for a few years. Can you share the lighting and feeding conditions you've maintained?
I did get new bear paws this year we will see if they make the winter
Awesome, I hope it grows well for you!

When they get enough sun, the tips can turn a reddish brown!

Hi, it's the same for me... Did you find a diagnosis?
more sun 6 to 8 hours direct a day
My Bear’s Paw is a bit stick to the touch. I keep it on my kitchen window sill. Have you heard of this before?

If the pot is too big for the plant the soil can stay wet for too long.

My leaves are shedding off. Will it survive?
