- It's been awhile since we've posted about our health situation so we want to get together for a Live to update you and share what's been going on.
Our DSM followers are about the kindest group of people we know and we are so thankful to have you. So many of you have reached out with your positive thoughts and prayers which brighten our day every time we see them and many of you have asked how you can help. For our friends close by we are so thankful for the food, house cleaning and shoulders and listening ears and for those of you who are so far away and the best virtual friends ever we've added some helpful things if you are so inclined.
With our need for travel to treatments, appointments and to support Courtney increasing to new heights we will be staying in Penelope whenever we can and your help with campgrounds and fuel would be much appreciated. Hello, I am keeping you all in our prayers. My husband struggled with stage 4 lymphoma. He was fired from his job of 43 years. Lost his medical insurance. We had to pay cash for every test, surgeries, chemo. We lost our home. Now we are the happiest we've ever been. He is cancer free!!!! I also wanted to say, you are both beautiful people. ❤️
Thank you for thinking of us. Cancer is a really tough diagnosis to deal with and when the rest of life refuses to cooperate it just makes things so much more difficult. We are sad to hear that you lost so much but thrilled to hear that you persevered and came out on the other side happy and healthy. We are working our way there too. Things have not gone according to plan and we have so much to share so we hope to do another live update soon. Hope you'll be there
You have come so far from that first video, the terrified lady in her bathroom telling everyone she has cancer. You were so lost, shocked, scared, it was heartbreaking. Look at how you have persevered, the strength, courage and positivity is remarkable. “You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.” Cory is so sweet, how loving and supporting he is to you. I’m sure this is so hard for him as well. You two have always been such a great team and it’s obvious just how much he loves you. Thank you for the update, I will continue to pray for you, your daughter and Cory. Keep the faith and never underestimate the power of prayer. God Bless you all.🙏🏼
Thank you so much for your kindness. We have come a long way and still have far to go but we will continue as we have, one step at a time. I am very lucky to have Kory taking care of me and everything else. He just keeps going and I am so thankful.

I just want to say that I think you are one of the bravest and one of the most beautiful women that I've ever seen also always wanted an RV but I didn't no much about them until I watch your videos now your videos are all I pretty much watch and I still want to buy one but not until you give me a walk through so you get better for the both of us God bless baby bye-bye

I am working very hard to get new videos created but my energy is low and cancer is a full time job but I sure can't wait to get back to doing reviews. Wish I could have caught this live, but so very glad to see you whatever way. I had no idea about your cancer diagnosis because I’ve been away from RVing for over a year because of losses in my life. I’m so sorry you have been going through this and will keep you in my prayers. You carry off the “new look” quite nicely because you’re an attractive lady. You are helping so many people you may never meet; you’re sharing is a blessing. Thank you. You’re going to come out on the other side and write a book😊

So sorry to hear about your cancer, it is such a hard diagnosis. Ken called it the "village of the dammed". You DO look great. So wonderful to see the support you have. If there is anything we could help with please let us know... even home grown garlic .. Janet and Ken
Thank you so much. We do feel damned for sure and we are just trying to get through one day at a time right now. As you know chemo sucks but the heart damage is what is really dragging us down right now. We will find our way with the support of the so many generous people we have in our lives. We are lucky.

I’m speechless. I missed the live, but I watched the whole recording . I don’t know what to say. Your positive attitude is surely helping you to navigate this nightmare. As a fellow Canadian I share the same gratefulness for our healthcare system. But the thought that some people can’t give themselves the best odds, is just heartbreaking. Big hugs. Esther

Hi guys. My mum had exactly the same advanced breast cancer, she was about 60 at the time and they found it had spread to the lymph nodes, she went through chemo and radiotherapy, went bald for a while too, and she is now celebrating her 80th next month, it never returned :) Good luck, I wish you all the best and things will be fine !!

Denise, Kory…Some how I missed the release of this livestream four months ago. As always, your optimism is infectious and encouraging while you have gone through these challenging times, but also for your daughter. Through all of these difficulties, the treatment and the effects, your radiance shines through. I imagine that since you did this livestream you have had many other difficulties.
We all can hardly wait for all of you to come through this and start producing and releasing your incredibly educational and FUN videos. You know I have been one of your biggest fans and I look forward to you being back in front of the lens.

It takes a great deal of courage to be able to smile during a life crisis life this. I salute you both for the ability to speak about your diagnosis/treatments. @@DoesSizeMatter I wish I can do more but I'm also having my own battles I need to conquer as well. We may not know each other personally but I am sure you and your loving husband is way tougher than any aluminum or steel alloy those rigs are made of hehe. Stay safe!
@@Anxiou5Panda It seems times are tough for a lot of people these days and we hope you are managing ok. We do try to stay strong and help each other as much as possible but like steel and alloy sometimes we bend we are just better at repairing and getting back on track then a bent RV frame haha. Hang in there as we will too.

I was diagnosed March 8th 2022. I am glad we caught it early and surgery got it.I am starting Proton in the next week. I only have 2 weeks of treatment then 5 years hormone treatment. I am doing this alone. It's not easy but I have no choice. We both got this! Keep your chin up. I have a Facebook page & Instagram account sharing my story & I want to share on UA-cam but scared too yet. Hopefully someday. My accounts are SmalltownGirl.
Thanks for reaching out. We are glad to hear you caught your's early and have a treatment plan in place. It is a long tough road for sure and it is harder to do alone so hang in there. You are right we do got this. Sharing your story is a personal choice and you should do whatever helps you the most that you feel comfortable doing. Don't add any extra stress to your life.
