We hope you guys are as excited as we are for this travel series!! Albania is INCREDIBLE!! Make sure to check out this blog post too if you are visiting Albania: www.waysoftheworldblog.com/albania-travel/
Hi guys thank you for making this wonderful video. I’m an Albanian living in Michigan since 1997 was born and raised in Tirana and has developed drastically. I get lost when I get back to Tirana. The neighborhoods I used to know have changed demolished and high buildings built. I miss it. By the way you are welcome. Albanians are friendly and helpful. Enjoy the wonderful food. By the way try to go to Dajti mountain in Tirana. Thanks again❤️🇦🇱
Hiii :) Thanks so much for the kind words! It's still being heavily developed, it's crazy! I can imagine you getting lost because every time you go back, it must look different than before. Albanians are the best, we really fell in love with your country. And yes, we went to Dajti mountain and the views were so beautiful. We had a wonderful lunch up there ❤️ Thanks so much for the recs :)
Myself and 11 friends were in Tirana last week - what an amazing place, we loved every moment of it! Looks like you had lunch in Millennium Garden, great place to watch the world go by!
Tirana is the most underrated city for those kind of people who do not have taste of living or didnt visit it yet. with no doubt Tirana is better than London, Paris, Venice, Amsterdam, or Berlin. it is a place where you can touch the sun, and the moon in the same time. Albanian nature it is just a treasure that can't find it in any place. great video guys
"yavash yavash" (9:20) is actually Turkish and means "slowly slowly". I visited Albania twice in the 1990s and again two weeks ago. Back then it was an intensely intriguing and weird, but difficult place to travel, as there was almost no tourism infrastructure. On my recent visit I was as agreeably surprised as you were. Lovely country with such kind people.
Hi. Love your videos! Watching for the second time as I KNOW this is the very best Albanian series on utube😊❤. My husband and I are planning to be there in October. You are our morning wake up routine with our coffee.
You're ice cream cone looks like trdelnik, which was all over the Czech Republic (kurtos kalacs in Hungary and Transylvania). When it's fresh and steaming and dusted with cinnamon, I'm in heaven.
Yea, exactly! We didn't realize that's what it was until after visiting Romania... funny story, we are in Malaysia right now and the ice cream with kurtos kalacs is very popular in Kuala Lumpur!
Try kayaking in Berat, Gjirokastra worth a visit. Also you must try Permet and their natural baths. There is so much to see further south like Vlora and Saranda. Also Korca worth a visit and northern alps like Theth and Valbona
Yes! Too quick 😫 But it was just meant to be a quick stop before our next travel series. We hope we get to go back soon! And yes, Antalya is on our list!! 🇹🇷 Thank you :)
I don't think your wife liked that alcoholic drink too much. She is so nice that had to be positive. Thank You for all the videos in Albania. Next time you visit Albania try to visit Permet ' not sure if you went there ' they have like an open bath kind of lake you will enjoy.
hahaha I sure did like it. It was a mezcal cocktail and I ended up having 2 that night and we went back for more towards the end of our trip :) And yes, we went to Permet as a part of a roadtrip and LOVED it!!! Thanks for the rec! We love Albania so much 🇦🇱
@@waysoftheworld_ Thank You for replying back. I am glad i found your channel as you guys are really cool. Albania is lovely. I am 'Arberesh' which means I come from the islands of italy where Catholic Albanians escaped from Albania when the Turks invaded 10 years after the death of Scanderbeg in 1443 which you saw his Statue in Tirana and his museum in Kruja. Took me like 2 years to learn fluently Albanian as I knew most old words from grandparents but It sounds different. Similar but different as Albanian language has evolved in centuries.
@@GenosGlory thanks so much for the kind words! We fell in love with Albania, that's for sure ❤ We have never of the Arberesh people, this is all so interesting to learn! Wow 2 years...? Imagine how long it would take for us hahaha we had a hard time with the language, but people always helped us with new words :)
Hi. Is it easy to cstch the public buses from Tirana to go to the beaches in other areas. Which is best to go to from Tirana. Is it reliable etc for the buses.
Hi. There's a bus terminal in Tirana where they have buses to some of the most popular beach towns. There are a ton of buses there, but you kind of have to go and choose where to go when you're there since it's not the most organized, but we moved around by bus and it worked out fine most times ;)
Your comment on Russian Embassy street was not needed. Every coin has two sides and you know nothing about the situation in East Ukraine or the background behind it. If you did you wouldn't be so flippant about it
We decide what we comment on or not in our videos. It is our channel and we stand behind what we said. As you said, there are always two sides. We are very clear on which side we stand for.
Irony is the way it is written it says "Ukraine is cheap". Their president is begging for nuclear war on Ukrainian television, just damaged Kerch bridge and continues to shell shopping centers and schools with himars. NATO/US complicit in war crimes.
I want to argue, because, to be honest you weren't the jelly in my doughnut, but still, you won't read it so it's more like contributing to comments. Maybe sprinkles on top? You really made me feel like sprinkles.
The people are ignorant and racist, But in the mountain and in the village the people are very kind. If you are not blonde and want to use the bus to go to another city, you must show your passport to the driver and his colleague
We hope you guys are as excited as we are for this travel series!! Albania is INCREDIBLE!! Make sure to check out this blog post too if you are visiting Albania: www.waysoftheworldblog.com/albania-travel/

Nobody needs to know anything except a fascist has invaded a free country. Albania , along with the rest of the free world, stands with Ukraine.
