- Welcome to the Albanian Riviera! This part of Albania is absolutely STUNNING!
We had so much exploring its beaches and just living our best Summer life :) We had some issues with the bus situation one more time, but without that, it wouldn't be a travel day in Albania.
We hope you enjoy this Albanian Riviera vlog and hope you get to visit these awesome spots. Gjipe beach was by far the most beautiful beach we visited!! And from all the beach towns we went to (not all included in this video) Qeparo was our favorite. There's not much to see in Dhermi besides for the beach... but it all comes to what you prefer because everyone has different travel styles.

I so want to go and stay for a month at least, sounds like I'm going to need a bike. I laughed when you said were going to milk it' . I say that all the time.
Albania is awesome!!! By bike you mean motorcycle? If so, yes. It's a great way to see the country because it's not so big and there's really a lot to see. If you plan to do it by bicycle of course that's great too (we saw a lot of people biking), just know that there are barely any flat roads in Albania so it'll be a great workout hahaha - Have fun and milk it while you're there!
I love your video. You two are cheerful but genuine. I'm curious how the car rental cash situation worked in Sarandë ... how much cash did they need as a deposit, and how much did they charge per day?
Hello! Thanks for the nice comment :) we paid 35 Euro per day for an automatic car. And I believe the deposit was around 250 Euro cash. We rented with EasyGo Car Rental near the ferry station. Maybe you can contact them and see if they take credit card now? They people there are great and we were able to chat with them via Whatsapp. Have fun!

Hi! You're welcome! No, they didn't 🤷🏻♀️ Actually, they didn't even stamp our passports coming in... they just ask how long we plan to be there and that's it.
Do you think these areas are doable as a single female relying on public transport? I'm going to Puglia this year and i'm already planing next years trip! thinking Albania before i even saw this now i'm convinced! Gjipe reminded me of Manganri beachI os greece -one of my fav beaches
Hi :) I think so, we saw a lot of female solo travelers. We felt super safe the whole time. I obviously understand it can be so different as a female solo traveler VS a couple, but we did see a lot of girls traveling alone in Albania. Have so much fun planning! Albania is an incredible country!!

Quick question about the gas for the car. You put "gas was $70". Thats per day? 😱😱

You guys are going to have the best time! Albania is incredible! No, the $70 are not per day. That day we def put way too much gas. But it is very expensive! To give you some extra context, we rented cars in 2 other occasions and gas for an 8-day roadtrip was $126 (we didn't drive that much), and in another occasion we rented a car for 1 one day and gas was $12. It all depends on how much you drive and how good you are at calculating how much gas to get when returning the rental car ;) Safe travels and have so much fun!!!

Where did u find that automatic 99% of cars in albania are stick shifts
hahaha it wasn't easy... but the agency is called Easy Go Car Rental (it's inside the ferry port)
Every major rental car agency offers automatic vehicles.
