What folks may not realize is that this is actually a remake of the old PC computer game Star Wars: Rebellion that came out in the late 90s. I LOVED that game and I think that this board version is a perfect replication of that. This one includes pretty much everything that the computer game had with a much improved building portion. The combat is pretty much the same as the computer game where it is a bit clunky and drawn out, but the battles in the PC game were very decisive and made you think about the forces you sent into battle. The missions and leaders is exactly the same and where the game really shines. I am super happy with this representation and think that a board version is long overdue for what I thought was an epic computer strategy game!!!
+Rob Rudd Whaaaaaaat??? Ok, time to check that out! I just recently discovered gog and have been killing so much time reliving my childhood with Star Control, Quest for Glory and Wing Commander.... oh man..... =D
I know you guys are big Star Wars fans, as I am, and it tickles me to see how excited you both get. I sat here smiling through most of the video. Thanks. Looking forward to this one. Now to convince my gang to sit through a 3 hour game.
When I saw the name of this game a month or two ago, it immediately brought to mind the old PC game of the same name. That was one of my favorite Star Wars games ever, and I hoped that this would at least capture some semblance of that classic game. Though the game board itself is smaller than I had hoped, it looks and sounds like they got about as close as they could. Can't wait to try this one out, though my gaming group probably won't be up for one of this length. Hope to see a live playthrough of this one at some point.
Armada and Rebellion are all I need for my SW fix. I'm glad they went the long route instead of going short-time. The experience matters more to me than "how many games can I play this year????" nonsense. Seriously, if I'm having fun, I don't care how long it takes. =) If it takes 2-3 sessions to finish, we will take 2-3 sessions. Just make sure to keep the cats or kiddies away from the table...
David Umstattd Heh heh, not me, but I've heard that excuse used before to slam games with "super ultra long play times!!!" like 2 hours. I understand some people can only play for really short bursts (ie. lunch break, waiting at the DMV, etc) but if space is available, then time can be mitigated. Plus, the first few games will probably blow up the estimated time -- my first Eldritch Horror game went 3 hours. =D
Star Wars Rebellion the computer game was one of my all time favorite games growing up. I still remember the shock and disbelief I felt when the cinematic began depicting the sabotage and destruction of my death star that I had spent most of the game building and had been decimating rebel fleets. Good to see that even though the depth has been cut in half it still looks amazing. The 2016 game I am most excited for :)
Star Wars: Rebellion has a strong theme. Game creates stories that one remembers long after the game is played. Narrows escapes, everything hanging on the thread before that thing that turns the situation around. Great game indeed. We just played this one with my co-host who had never played anything else than Hungry Hippos or Monopoly. Dude is huge Star Wars fan. It was a great experience for him and we got some fun, fresh view for our footage.
Star Wars Rebellion was one of my favorite video games years ago, I am glad that it looks like there is now a board game version. Can't wait till it is released. Good review guys. Did you try it with four players?
+David Umstattd Yes, I have already answered this, on this video about 3 times, but a 4th won't hurt. Each side controls space and ground units, in a 3 or 4 player game you would split these units between 2 players and the leaders that go with them. My group of beta testers thought 3 and 4 players was fine, only 1 of us heavily preferred 2 players. So I think the fan base with be split on this issue. But many will be satisfied with this as a 3 to 4 player game, but I am not a big war or miniature game player, yet I liked this game. And while I like Star Wars, I am not a Star Wars freak, I prefer Lord of the Rings for example. This may temper my answer with some understanding of my stance on games.
As a huge War of the Ring fan, I'm glad SW fans are finally getting their due. I can't imagine with all the solid SW games that Fantasy Flight has...that there would be no way of putting them together. So when it's time for an x wing battle, here is your set up. The winner does X and the loser does Y. Same with Armada and Imperial Assault. That would be a win win for everyone.
You could see about implementing this idea with Armada and now either Legion or the old WEG Miniatures Battles (basically better Legion and severely underappreciated). I realize this comment was 7 years ago and thus before Legion upon typing this, but the WEG game is really good for this idea. Given, you'd probably have to spread such a game over multiple days or at least 1 full day.
Would a Star Trek Twilight Imperium 3 not be more realistic? Star Trek's races already are heavily profiled: Federation - diplomatic; Klingons - militaristic; Romulans - stealth; Ferenghi - trade; Cardassians - Exploiters; Dominion - Infiltration; Borg - good in almost everything, but everybody hates them. The video game "The Birth of the Federation" was a bit TI:3-like
that would be awesome. Too bad they don't have the license. What does Gale Force Nine have plan? And there is wizkids. Cross your fingers and hope for the best.
How would you compare this to Forbidden Stars with two players? The theme of Star Wars Rebellion is MUCH more interesting to me than Warhammer 40K, but the combat system in Forbidden Stars seems a bit more tactical with building a combat deck.
+The Family Showdown Looks like knowing a bit about star wars (or about how to do guerrilla strategy) would significantly help you. I've seen some playthroughs where the rebel player obviously didn't know anything about how the rebels actually operated and it was pretty ugly to watch. Retreat is your friend.
After watching Sam's Live Q&A it clicked for me after a few hours "oh, Sam was talking about Rebellion, when he mentioned he would play a two player game with Tom!" :)
Great Fan of you guys here in Portugal, keep up the awesome work. This game is the old PC game of the same name made board game. Having said that i cannot wait to have it.
Is that 3 balls up from Sam? I guess that's legit then. :) Seriously now, the game looks amazing and it would be no exaggeration to say that the theme is strong in this game.
Nice! Can you give more info on the 4 player game. I have a group of 4, I assume it's 2 on 2 and you split up yoru forces, but what other rules? No one has given us any idea's yet? Thanks,
+David Brennan I have played the beta version. A 4 player game splits the roles of ground and space units between 2 players, so 1 player has all ground troops and leaders for example. I quite enjoyed it!
Please try to have a bit of mystery about the final verdict - Sam sitting cuddling the box right at the start of the video really gave away that he liked it =8)
Is there no Millennium Falcon miniature? I kept expecting to see it in a shot. It just wouldn't seem totally like Star Wars without that old bucket of bolts.
It's a card. On a galactic level a single ship as small as the falcon wouldn't have its own miniature when compared to squadrons of fighters and fleets of capital ships.
+Jacob Gowans The game is definitely replayable, and is different each game, this was my slight objection to them comparing it to the films because things can happen on different planets in the game compared to the movie.
Cannot even express my hype for this game. It's Star Wars: Rebellion the expansive PC game fit to board game form, with the important change of having a time limit--original Rebellion sometimes took forever as the other side moved their HQ or important personnel around. I can't wait to play this through as many times as possible!
So as excited as they were I didn't get the sense that it was going to break into the top 10...or maybe not even top 20 this year on the top 100. Is it TOO long? Really want to know how more than 2 players works with this. Great review, really looking forward to playing this.
+MjrLeegInfidel In a 3 or 4 player game you split up the duties of ground units and space units and the leaders thereof. I quite enjoyed a 4 player version!
I believe nobody yet said that, but now you can have even more complete Star Wars scenery with Rebellion as the main map of it, Imperial Assault dealing with land combats and Armada-X-Wing with space battles. Of course, this would rule out combat rules in Rebellion itself :)
I could tell you were super excited through the entire game rundown but man, give the camera a moment to FOCUS on the cards etc that you're picking up! :) Awesome closing thoughts!
This reminds me of an old war game called 'Freedom in the Galaxy', which honestly, was Star Wars with the name filed off. Star Wars Rebellion, however, seems much easier to play with a tremendously shorter play and setup time, plus really does benefit from having the IP.
Great review Tom! How did you feel about the game balance? This seems to always be the question with asymmetry. It seemed to feel tense for you guys but wanted to ask.
+Ben Foster Yeah, many are siting that PC game Rebellion was the inspiration. But i haven't played that, so i can only compare this to Empire at War. It really reminds it, but now after watching the review i see it has more of a cat and mouse mechanic and mission. While EaW is more an RTS game with some tactics and missions.
+Ben Foster I played both Rebellion and Empire at War back in the day and this is definitely closer to Rebellion(although I understand the similarities to Empire at War as well).
Late comment. Just landed my copy of Rebellion. So happy to finally have the full realization of "Freedom in the Galaxy" ... that only takes 2-4hrs to play rather than 20!
+Matt Ritzinger Possible, but I don't see much expansion ability, maybe different maps? And if they did that, then they could add different kinds of troops or units.
+Doma Agape Yeah I agree. I feel like FF will do something to expand the game. They likely could even just add more units to depict different times such as the prequels or The Force Awakens.
PLEASE make an effort to increase the Depth of Field settings on your camera. The constant back/forth from close/far and thus blurry/not gives me a crazy headache (and makes all these things you're showing the camera totally unreadable)
Just bought this, it's fairly complex, and it took awhile to work out the rules, also you need a massive table, it's a your gonna need a bigger boat moment with that, but overall it is a superb two player 4x ish space game, which is hard to find.
SPI published (and Avalon Hill later released their own edition after SPI went under) a game called Freedom in the Galaxy. It was *very* obvious it was Star Wars inspired, to the point I'd wonder if they had originally designed a Star Wars game but couldn't get the license. The big focus was going to planets and trying to convince them to side with you. Showing that it was designed shortly after the Vietnam era, there's "Domino Effect" rules -- if a planet joins the Rebellion, a nearby one might become more sympathetic. The character names are... interesting. Supposedly, several are anagrams of the names of SPI employees. And the Empire has a Princess named Thysa Kimbo. (Think about it.) It was all cardboard and paper, of course. And the map was hideous. But it was a serious strategy game that felt Star Wars
The 2006 "Star Wars Risk: Original Trilogy Edition" had a full galactic map (NOT the 2015 Star Wars Risk, which has some weird looking circular map). It was a 2-5 player game which pitted two Imperial players against two Rebel players against the Hutts/underworld. It's not too bad, but Star Wars Rebellion is WAY better IMO.
+Señor Ding Dong Its suppose to symbolize the rebels gaining influence in the galaxy to the point that open rebellion from the whole galaxy starts. At which point the rebels win. In the movies this happens after the endor victory.
That would ruin the game. Most of the conflict is about getting into the other players head and figuring out their strategy. Can't do that against a machine
+David Umstattd I understand that. It would deffinetely be a different game. But I wouldn't mind that. There's no such possibility anyway no matter how different it would be, I was just letting out a small sigh. And I know I'm in a minority of people who like to play board games solo.
+Kainoa Pestana Because I know 2 of my friends don't like star wars and they're against games that take more than an hour unless they're cooperative. And the last one won't play 2 player game unless it's short, cause he doesn't want to play without his wife. Short meaning 1 hour or less. My other friends live more than 2 hours of travel time away, so that's no go too. So yeah, I know why, doesn't change the fact it makes me sad.
Don't forget FF is also doing the RPG systems, Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, and Force and Destiny, which are fantastic as well. Plus the Star Wars LCG which I've heard is great. FF deserves this IP!
+Jeremy Boughton No, because your starting forces on the base are pretty strong and so a random scout force probably wouldn't be strong enough to take it. And if you see an enemy force getting close maybe reinforce or RM your way out of there.
I need it badly, but I also need to wait for the translation :( my wife is giving me really hard time for Lords of Waterdeep that did not, and would not be translated, that I had bought in original
Great review, though I disagree with Sam, theres no way Star Wars could work as TI3, as there is really only 2 main factions. There might be many different races, but they would never be on par with the powerful Empire or the Rebels.
WIll have to see what other reviewers are saying. You guys love Star Wars and I know you give fair reviews, but I don't love love love star wars, I merely like it a lot - and would like to see the other opinions too :D.
+outlawlaw I prefer Lord of the Rings to Star Wars and the game was great. In other words I like fantasy more than sci-fi. It currently is my 69th favorite game.
I'm on this like a piss head on a kebab when it hits. Cannot WAIT. Star Wars in a box. Like War of the Ring. Re-enact scenes from the movies (with unique twists). I'm totally stoked.I would like to know how it plays 2 vs 2, as I suspect this is really a 2 player game only, but if they nail that too, I'll be scoring it 3 Death Stars up too.
I'm a bit frustrated about FFG pushing so much SW games with LOTS of extension (X-Wings, Armada, Imperial Assault). This one seems to be pretty complete. Although FFG could always surprises us....
If you miss complexity of combats in Rebellion, combine Rebellion with Armada, X-Wing and Imperial Assault and play an epic and weekand-filling game ;D
The grindy combat feels grindy because combat is automated using dice. It means it is solved purely by rolling dice, no real decisions aside of assigning damage to a specific ship. With the expansion there is a bit more player decisioning during combat. It is appropriate to have automated combat anyway, because you are the strategist, not the tactical officer. You take care of end game, not the skirmishes.

Bingo! Rebellion was one of my all time favorite games. It's on gog games and fixed to run on modern machines.
+Matt Mayse Was just about to post this.
+Rob Rudd
Whaaaaaaat??? Ok, time to check that out! I just recently discovered gog and have been killing so much time reliving my childhood with Star Control, Quest for Glory and Wing Commander.... oh man..... =D
I was so excited when I saw this board game. I spent many hours of my life playing Rebellion on PC. The influence seems obvious.
I really wish they'd remake Rebellion with better combat and a MUCH better interface (holy crap those popup windows...).
I know you guys are big Star Wars fans, as I am, and it tickles me to see how excited you both get. I sat here smiling through most of the video. Thanks. Looking forward to this one. Now to convince my gang to sit through a 3 hour game.
I don't always pre-order games out of my excitement, but the force is strong with this one. Let's see a live playthrough!
Tom: "I blew up Kashyyyk and made Chewbacca watch". I burst out laughing at that. I can't wait to play this game!!!
I scrolled down and read this exactly one moment before Tom uttered the words
hope you enjoy it!

I whole heartedly concur!!!!!
YES!!!

+azraelswrd Hear hear! Very pleased with Armada and hoping Rebellion will give me the grand SW feel that War of the Ring did for LOTR.
+azraelswrd A 2 hour game takes you 2-3 sessions to finish? O_o
David Umstattd
Heh heh, not me, but I've heard that excuse used before to slam games with "super ultra long play times!!!" like 2 hours. +azraelswrd As a cat addict, I know that struggle, haha.
+David Umstattd it can be a 2-5 hours game
If a game tell stories, and you remind them after the session. it mean that it's a true good game!
+Lonni Perrin Amen to that!
Wow! I was not expecting a review of this for a long time. Way to get the sneak peek for us. :)
+Jason Grubiak
Advance copies have been distributed. I've already seen it on Twitch.
+azraelswrd I played a beta version myself.

Nice overview guys. Pleasantly surprised with how well thought out it seems.
Star Wars: Rebellion has a strong theme. Game creates stories that one remembers long after the game is played. Star Wars Rebellion was one of my favorite video games years ago, I am glad that it looks like there is now a board game version. Can't wait till it is released. Good review guys. Did you try it with four players?
+Aikuchi I played it with 4 players
+Aikuchi same here! The computer game was golden... wish they re-release a newer version of the game with perhaps some of the new episodes in them.
+Doma Agape how was it 4 player? Can it be played 3 player?
+David Umstattd Yes, I have already answered this, on this video about 3 times, but a 4th won't hurt. I've been following this game for months! So glad it's living up to the hype! So excited to get my hands on this!!

Not sure how that could work. But theoretically you could make it work. You'd need to do a LOT of balance testing.
You could see about implementing this idea with Armada and now either Legion or the old WEG Miniatures Battles (basically better Legion and severely underappreciated). I realize this comment was 7 years ago and thus before Legion upon typing this, but the WEG game is really good for this idea. The video game "The Birth of the Federation" was a bit TI:3-like
Gale Force 9 are doing a Star Trek 4x game.
Sam is slightly too much of a fanboy to admit this doesn't make sense.
+Brandon Palmer Can't remember where I heard it, but they described it as a 4x.
+Brandon Palmer No, you're thinking of the Wizkids Star Trek game that is also coming out this year. I'm pretty excited about both.
that would be awesome. Too bad they don't have the license. What does Gale Force Nine have plan? And there is wizkids. Cross your fingers and hope for the best.
We also love the artwork on the cardboard stills, but it's interesting how Dodonna looks a little more cartoonish than anyone else.
Live play through please!!!!! This looks amazing!
How would you compare this to Forbidden Stars with two players? The theme of Star Wars Rebellion is MUCH more interesting to me than Warhammer 40K, but the combat system in Forbidden Stars seems a bit more tactical with building a combat deck.
I am not a huge Star Wars fan (compared to some) but this game looks EPIC! Great job, guys!

I'd like to see those miniatures painted....AND I'd like to see a live-play!!!!!
After watching Sam's Live Q&A it clicked for me after a few hours "oh, Sam was talking about Rebellion, when he mentioned he would play a two player game with Tom!" :)

looks great thanks guys! One question are the sides very balanced against each other or does one side hold a little advantage?
+Barret Musselman They fixed balance issues in beta.
+Barret Musselman From what they've said they think the sides are balanced.
Nice! Can't wait :)
Please try to have a bit of mystery about the final verdict - Sam sitting cuddling the box right at the start of the video really gave away that he liked it =8)
+Phil Sheep I thought he was cold. So I disagree. :-)
Is there no Millennium Falcon miniature? I kept expecting to see it in a shot. It just wouldn't seem totally like Star Wars without that old bucket of bolts.
+Nicholas Hayes There is not.
+Doma Agape that seems like a misstep on Fantasy Flights part to not include the most iconic ship in the series. Maybe in an expansion (sigh)
It's a card. On a galactic level a single ship as small as the falcon wouldn't have its own miniature when compared to squadrons of fighters and fleets of capital ships.
What are your thoughts on the replayability? Are there enough missions and stuff to really make it a new game after 10-20 replays?

Sam hugging the box - such a sweet scene :)
"Let's take a look at it, and then we'll tell you what we think,' while Sam's mouth twitched made me lol.
So as excited as they were I didn't get the sense that it was going to break into the top 10...or maybe not even top 20 this year on the top 100. Is it TOO long? Really want to know how more than 2 players works with this. Great review, really looking forward to playing this.

Interesting, selection of planets. They have Toydaria but not Kuat. But I suppose we got Mandalore and did NOT get Naboo so I guess it all evens out.
+Elizabeth Lestrad Naboo is there.
So relieved. Can't wait to own this.
I could tell you were super excited through the entire game rundown but man, give the camera a moment to FOCUS on the cards etc that you're picking up! :) Awesome closing thoughts!

Wish the ships had flight stands, I guess I can do that myself with a little bit of work!
+Pete Shirey
But they're in space... not flying above the ground.
Great review Tom! How did you feel about the game balance? This seems to always be the question with asymmetry. It seemed to feel tense for you guys but wanted to ask.
+Bret Kelso Game balance is pretty god, it was adjusted during beta testing, I helped beta test it.
This really seems to be a board game version of Empire at War, which is awesome!
+Ben Foster Yeah, many are siting that PC game Rebellion was the inspiration. But i haven't played that, so i can only compare this to Empire at War. Late comment. Just landed my copy of Rebellion. So happy to finally have the full realization of "Freedom in the Galaxy" ... that only takes 2-4hrs to play rather than 20!
Thanks for the review. This looks like an epic game!
A question for Sam though: How can you compare this to Twilight Imperium?
Hard to get it to the table says enough for me :( looks good but I have so many games I can hardly get played as it is :-/
So after playing the game, what are your thoughts on possible expansions? Expanding the board, more minis or just more cards?
+Matt Ritzinger Possible, but I don't see much expansion ability, maybe different maps? And if they did that, then they could add different kinds of troops or units.
+Doma Agape Yeah I agree. I feel like FF will do something to expand the game. They likely could even just add more units to depict different times such as the prequels or The Force Awakens.
Just got this 40% off on sale. Can't wait to try it.
I remember playing the video game. It was all about the missions; diplomacy and special forces were your weapon of choice.
Where do I get in line for this?!?! Looks great!!
The map in this game really does lay out very similar to the official star wars maps in the Atlas.
Hey, I didn't know if you guys knew, but this is a board game conversion of the old computer game "Star Wars: Rebellion".
PLEASE make an effort to increase the Depth of Field settings on your camera. The constant back/forth from close/far and thus blurry/not gives me a crazy headache (and makes all these things you're showing the camera totally unreadable)

I don't like Hipster Vasel. I miss clean-cut Vasel.
Another great episode! thanks guys!
+GamesWithFriendsShow That's not hipster, that's full on neckbeard.
I wonder if this is one of the highest viewed Dice Tower videos to date? over 30,000 views. Wow!
Did you order yours after watching? I did.
With that game, sam may have to change his top 5 star wars games 😊
I still haven't gotten Imperial Assault! Which is worth getting first?
Let me know when you play it again... I still have Pandemic Legacy and Time Stories to complete... Does look good and great review!
Man. I need this game so much...
Really excited for this. Got it on pre order and like Sam I am a die hard SW fan so glad it's not just a pretty box but sounds like a classic
Could I ask which table you are using? :P
A very nice capstone to Rebellion Week!
is there really only a maximum of 4 players? I have 6 people who want to play this game and it looks freaking awesome. so I'm debating buying it.
+Jon Buckner yes 4 is the max
I wish I had the time and a willing partner to play this with! Glad it lived up to the hype.
Daniel Strain they also had a Clone wars version risk before that edition I have both
What about the Original version of Star Wars Risk.
I wonder if there are similarities to the PC Game Star War Rebellion?
How difficult would you say this game is to learn and play? It looks like it leans towards the heavy side.
+David Holbrook Medium to light weight. Mostly due to fiddliness.
Just tried today. Game was much easier to play than I expected.
So can't wait for this. The board looks like it is set up for an expansion.
No that's just the lore. In Star Wars that other half of the galaxy is just unexplored and had to navigate so it doesn't influence any major events
Looking thinner Tom. Good job. Game looks great too.
so the empire has to find the rebel base. but wheres the theme in the rebels have to make these two counters meet? or did i miss something?
+Señor Ding Dong Its suppose to symbolize the rebels gaining influence in the galaxy to the point that open rebellion from the whole galaxy starts. At which point the rebels win. In the movies this happens after the endor victory.
+marshall b ok now i get it
+Señor Ding Dong It also symbolizes the passage of time. If the rebels survive a length of time, it is a success.
Too bad nobody would play this with me. I'd love to play this. Have to wait for some co-op where either imperium or republic could be AI controlled.
Why would nobody play with you? Have you tried asking nicely?
+Kainoa Pestana Because I know 2 of my friends don't like star wars and they're against games that take more than an hour unless they're cooperative. And the last one won't play 2 player game unless it's short, cause he doesn't want to play without his wife. Short meaning 1 hour or less. My other friends live more than 2 hours of travel time away, so that's no go too. So yeah, I know why, doesn't change the fact it makes me sad.
Too bad, maybe you could try making new friends at your local game store or through your local gaming Facebook group?
Thanks for the review! Btw, the "sc" in Coruscant is like the "sc" in science (no hard k sound) (COR-u-sant). :)
Don't forget FF is also doing the RPG systems, Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, and Force and Destiny, which are fantastic as well. Plus the Star Wars LCG which I've heard is great. FF deserves this IP!
I'd love to watch a live play of this too.
Me while watching this: I dont need it, I dont need it, i DEFENATLY dont need it, (sees the entire board) I NEED IIIIITTT
got this on order so can't wait anyone know release date I was told april
Wouldn't it be possible for the Imperials to land on your base in the first few turns, just by chance and end the game.
+Jeremy Boughton If that happen the rebels base should have enough units to defeat that force. Then they could move the base..
+Jeremy Boughton No, because your starting forces on the base are pretty strong and so a random scout force probably wouldn't be strong enough to take it. And if you see an enemy force getting close maybe reinforce or RM your way out of there.
The first Death Star, the second Death Star and the Starkiller base up!
I NEED this game now!!!
When is it going to be released?
I need it badly, but I also need to wait for the translation :( my wife is giving me really hard time for Lords of Waterdeep that did not, and would not be translated, that I had bought in original
its the table top version of star wars rebellion computer game. love it
how did they get a copy of this game while on the FFG site its still being printed?
+Irokenics I am pretty sure that boardgame reviewers get early copies of games in some cases.
Well I'm sold.
love to see the rules , but cant find them. anyone know were I can get them.
like to look and read them before I drop cash.
thanks.
+George Kaufmann FFG didn't release the rules for Mission:Red Planet for a couple of weeks until after it was printed. Maybe expect the same.
+George Kaufmann Nothing so far. We're still sending out probe droids in search of these hidden rulebook plans.
+David Umstattd This game is not available to the public yet, I believe.
Answer me this, though. If you are not a fan of Star Wars, or not familiar with the Star Wars universe, would this game be good?
+Carl Frodge I like Star Wars, but prefer Lord of the Rings, thus like fantasy more than sci-fi, and this is my 69th favorite game.
Great review, though I disagree with Sam, theres no way Star Wars could work as TI3, as there is really only 2 main factions. There might be many different races, but they would never be on par with the powerful Empire or the Rebels.
Here we gooo!!
+Martin Cubberley I played it as 2v2 and its great, but 1 player preferred 2 player
I'm a bit frustrated about FFG pushing so much SW games with LOTS of extension (X-Wings, Armada, Imperial Assault). This one seems to be pretty complete. Although FFG could always surprises us....
Wai wai wait...is this OUT?
+Paul Wootton no.
I wish they release a version of this game with the clone wars
can I buy it yet??? :D
NEED!
Any idea if 4 player is just as good?
