Go “oh well I guess y’all can get no score” 💀 and possibly prevent us from taking any future tests and mess up our college admissions...they have a lot of power
My teacher is having us read the entire unit on the textbook within a couple days to prepare for a test. With online classes, it is much harder for me to retain information. Now I'm here, thank you.
@@fatal_moon4570 don't remind me. They literally said that the question is gunna be too much to answer in 45 minutes, and to just do as much as you can. Definitely not excited for this one
Just wanted to say Thank You! Just took my APUSH exam and I feel like I did well and it's due to your videos! Believe me when I say that the entire community of students who take APUSH exams thank you for the effort you put in your videos!
Adam you are the best! I have been watching all of your videos, and they help so much! My teacher, Mrs. McGowan at Piscataway High School recommended you to my whole class and I thank her every day. You are God's gift to history. Honestly! Thank you so much! AP exam in two days...
After trying so many methods to cram today, I finally found the perfect one. Thank you so much for these day; now there's actually a chance I'll get a 4 or 5!
UR THE GOAT, ty for all of your review videos, last year I got a 4 on my ap world exam so I have a lot of pressure on me to get a good score on my Apush exam and your making the review a whole lot easier, thank you so much :)
This is amazing Mr. Norris! I cannot thank you enough for all the hard work you put in, the website, flashcards, and ESPECIALLY the key concept videos AND these 10 minute review videos and their corresponding notes (norris notes haha). I was wondering when you will have all the rest completed as the AP test is so close. Thanks so much for everything.
Grade my SAQ! a) The 14th Amendment, which guaranteed citizenship rights for men and women of all races, created an atmosphere of indigence among women such as Lucretia Mott and Elizabeth Cady Stanton as they realized that, despite the promises of equality that were made, women still did not have the same opportunities as men because of the confinements of a woman's role in society, especially considering the previous restrictions of republican motherhood and the cult of domesticity that still existed in some form throughout history. b) The South sought to limit the power of the 14th Amendment by establishing a system of sharecropping and tenant farming. This infringed upon the usually poor Southern African American laborer's right to life, liberty, and property by making him dependent on the white employer/master's elaborate plan to continue to exploit African Americans as a source of cheap labor by keeping them in a cycle of enormous debt. c) Southern societies were successful in their continued, lawful suppression of African Americans as evidence by the continued use of the sharecropping and tenant farming system perpetuated by the end of Reconstruction efforts with the Compromise of 1877 due to WANING motivation from the north and resistance from the south.
These videos are my lifeline, I appreciate them so ridiculously much - Is there any way you will be doing the 10 minute overviews of Periods 8 & 9 before the test on May 8th? Thank you so much for everything!
Nathan Bel check out the video at 8:03. the KKK, Jim Crow Laws, The White League they were very successful because they would terrorize blacks trying to vote and created white primaries which blacks were not allowed to vote for candidates for elections. Also the creation of poll taxes and literary tests which were biased. Good luck tomorrow hope this helped.
One political impact brought about by the 15th amendment which provided universal suffrage for men (right to vote for everyone). This allowed African Americans to be able to vote in America which helped to boost the Republican Party as most African Americans voted for them at the time. This also lead to the first African American to hold seat in Congress, he replaced Jefferson Davis in Mississippi. This caused bitter resentment from Confederates seeing African Americans who were just their slaves begin to hold power in the government. One way Southern cities sought to limit the power of the 15th amendment was by introducing Black Code, literacy tests and poll taxes to prevent African Americans from voting. White supremacists also formed terrorist groups to intimidate African Americans into not voting. However despite the South’s best tries in limiting the amendment it did not work as African American votes in the election of 1868 helped to give Republicans the marginal victory. Congress also tried to pass Civil Rights acts to help African Americans protect their right to vote.
