I just pulled mine apart to see what's wrong..I tried rolling down the other day and heard shit shattering in the door..and the window wouldnt go back up anymore and is stuck down about 3 inches..found a cable not attached to the regulator railtrack above the motor..so gonna have to order the whole assembly and perform this exact job..nuts!!!
HELLO, DOES ANYBODY KNOW,,. IF I can replace the electric window setup and put in the standard crank with a handle so I can hand crank it instead of having the electric garbage in there. ???

My window is stuck to the old rubber and metal piece! How do I get it detached without damaging the window?
A hammer but use it sparingly.

Gonna have to get your hand and a wrench in there and loosen those bolts
Pry the door panel off and you should be able to push it up. That’s what had to do.

It's a 01 but they switched body styles in 99,i guess you could have a 99 classic Silverado, but most changed to new body style in 99
The point of a "show you how" video is to show how you did the whole repair. Good try though.
