      Yeah that can happen when you grow up down under where many people with Southern European background (many from Greek or Cyprus, like Nick) live and understand english quite well. He automatically assumes Spanish are similar.

      I've seen Carlos interviewed many times and it's not easy for interviewers. I adore Carlos but he needs a solid 6 months where his team only speak and joke with him in English and he replies in English.

      @@al1976-v7m I've been watching his tennis for 2 years now and much as I don't like to criticize, it's frustrating to listen to his English. It hasn't improved as much as I would expect in that time. The problem is, we don't get to know who he is because of the language barrier. He has a lot of fans but he would have way more if he could communicate with them🤷‍♀️

      I recently watched a Kyrgios match from AO 2016 and that version of him was scary. I would say that if Carlos played like he did today against that version of Nick, Nick would win.
