Thanks man! 🙏🏽 I’ve always loved The Power Station, and just 70s & 80s hard rock in general, it’s the best type of music in my opinion. Just love the catchy hooks, catchy riffs, the solid powerful drum sounds and the awesome bass grooves!
Great cover. Your playing is powerful and precise. Love it. Tony 's legacy and style live on through you. And great T-shirt BTW! Love Whitesnake and the Power Station too!
@@marlonmcdonaldproject600 Can't wait to see your cover versions of some '1987' songs (a masterpiece indeed). Like "Don't turn away" with the great Anysley Dunbar on drums ... ;-)
Speaking as a guy who born in the 80’s I listened to everything from rap to rock to metal. I have always love Power Station. Watched the videos on MTV back in the day. I was 6 i think. Their music just hit you right in the chest. Awesome cover man. I can feel your energy through the damn screen. Its lit 🔥

Agreed. I love this album and Powerstation was severely underrated, back then and even today. I know it was just an in between studio project but man, did it sound FAT and THICK. (if we can say that about music)
Its not an easy song, but it has a lot of timing to it. Again great job and I used to play that in a band in the 80s in Florida. It always got people moving and I played it really hard. I'm a very powerful drummer but I enjoyed YOUR version and your drums sound great. Well done!!...
@@billbobaggins801 I only realised about 4 months ago that I was actually playing it the hard way 😂 because I recently saw this live clip of Tony playing it back in 85 on SNL, and he was actually playing the highhat on 8th notes but lifting the highhat on every hit.. type of thing. But long story short I was drumming it again recently but playing it how Tony was doing it in that live clip, and it was actually easier hahaha, but anyway it is what it is.. still pretty damn close and as long as the big sound is there! which a lot of people miss and don’t get it these days
