Audrey, you're my hero for today! And I really mean that!!! I've been type one for 56 years now and I'm still in relatively good health, Have my full vision, kidneys are great, some neuropathy in my feet, but I'm still standin'. I want to thank you for this dynamite video, because even after 56 years I can still occasionally get frightened by new processes and equipment. But you superb video and narration got me through my first Home installation of the Guardian Sensor. Thank you for your courage and sharing it with all of us type ones!!!

Excellent video! So good, congratulations! I was searching for a video like that, but every video I saw was putting the sensor on the arm, no one that showed immediately after removing the transmitter, yours was perfect! Once again, thank you for the video!

I realize this video is 3 years old but regardless it really helped me! I am new to the sensor but not the meter. You have saved me today! I am 52 years old and was scared to mess up. I viewed this and stopped it as I inserted my meter. Thank you for posting this!

Wow, what a pleasant, warm instruction. Even if I wasn't diabetic, It'd be worth watching just to watch you. Really didn't get much from the Medtronic teaching. couldn't even remember what the parts looked like, been lost without you. Thank you.

I had my first training 6 days ago... My trainer showed me step by step how to do it as I applied it to myself and the whole training left my brain somehow as I'm trying to prepare a new one instead of waiting till tomorrow... This was so helpful! Thank you!

Thank you so much. Im 26 yrs old and it is my first time trying to change my sensor. I think i did it wrong at the first trial and got blood in my arm a bit. I felt very overwhelmed and cried for a while. Than i got myself together and found your video. I managed to connect the sensor this time. A person who has diabetes can really teach it better... thanks for sharing it❤ ❤❤

I come back to this video once a week ;-) The sticker part is too much for my brain to handle, but you make it really clear. You really calmed me down after I stressed out from Medtronic's robotic explanation. Thank you for being so kind to upload it.

I came here to simply thank you. This is my 4th night on this. It’s a struggle. My infusion set came out the first night and now my sensor tonight. I still have my sensor on with my Dexcom so I was just going to use that until it expired. My boyfriend insisted I get it right tonight and I’m glad he did. I see everyone here is as grateful of you as myself. You saved me and it was so easy I was nervous with all the steps my educator showed me. Thank you thank you!!

Thank you so much for posting this video! My son just started with the 670G a few months ago and will begin the Guardian this week. After having the Animas for 9 years and Dexcom for 3 years we are very excited! I was so happy to be able to share this video with my son. He is 11 years old and going through a tough phase. Today is the start of my third week with the guardian, the last time and today went horribly wrong. Last time wasn't as awful as today's was though. When I inserted it, it didn't hurt too much, but it started bleeding everywhere and wouldn't stop. I waited about an hour before trying again, and this time I put on your video just to help remind me of anything I might've forgotten. It felt less lonely to insert it with your video--I'm very nervous about anyone watching me test or give myself insulin, and no one has seen me insert my guardian yet. It was really helpful to have such a positive video about doing it!

Hey Audrey - thanks for posting this video - I've just started on the MiniMed 780 alongside the Guardian 4 sensor. I'm still in the 3 day sensor "warming up" period (as the G4 sensor doesn't need all the calibration steps that the G3 did - thankfully). The insertion technique is all but identical so although I did it in the training it was good to see someone else do it - I'm a little concerned how I'll attach it to my upper arm - but I'm sure it can't be too difficult. Thanks again for the post and I hope you've now upgraded your pump and sensor - it should be a game changer for me and keep me in target for a high % of time with any luck. Oh and I hear you about all the rubbish (trash) these things generate 🙄👍

Thank you for the instructional video on how to change sensor and insert a new one. I just had my in person training today with the Medtronic 670G. It sure has more steps to do then with the Animus and Dexcom which I previsously used. Audrey - thank you for your user friendly guide to you cgm. You also handle your equipment like some one who uses it on a daily basis - not just a model, you know what mean. I was diagnosed at 9 with T1 and now at 50, I"m still figuring it out. Three kids, world traveler, wish I had this device back in middle school. I have a dexcom - I might switch to mini because of this tutorial. Diabetes is a disease you can live with and thrive with proper support. I my younger brother had had this device 16 years ago but now he's watching over me. I wish there was a way to get these hard supplies to those with no/deficient insurance. Again, thank you and God bless you!

Great video. Using my enlite sensor I was able to bring my A1Cs to the 6.1 range. Mine disappeared when I was in the hospital and after a several year fight, I just got a new one. I forgot how to set it up and tape it on and your video helped remind me...Thanks!!

Thank You for making this video. I was very helpful. This was my 1st time changing my sensor on my own. It was nice to know I was doing it the wright way.

Thanks so much for this video! It’s so helpful to able to WATCH someone do it! This is only my second time changing the CGM and this helped me so much. My mom thinks you’re amazing and she is literally trying not to cry right now (idk why tho. I think she just thinks that it’s amazing you know how to do it, which it totally is)❤️
