The rider on the chestnut with the red warning on the tail seems to be all over the place and her horse seemed to be inconsistent because of it. I liked how your ride was calm, smooth, and you let your horse find his pace without hauling him this way and that.
You first see them at 9:00 for anyone wondering
@olivia4599 She's got a whip. She needs to use it a few hard stings on it's butt will sort that horse out.
@@olivia4599 thank you!!
Everyone starts somewhere . The rider could be inexperienced, or young …. the horse unwilling …. Or a mare 😂. You’ll never learn anything right if you don’t look like a fool occasionally while learning ….
If you can’t control your horse there are always spotters and places to leave the hunt and “hill top.” That rider endangered herself, her horse, and everyone else. This excellent rider is experienced and smart. His horse is well prepared and he keeps Tonic at the front of the field we’re it is safer, fewer opportunities for being cut off at an awkward moment.
I've been following for a wee while now. This looked to be an amazing day. Tonic was wonderful, gave you a great ride, and seems so sensible and biddable. I have just been looking back again at his first two or three videos; so much progress in only thirteen months. Your calm, quiet manner and good horsemanship has produced a great partnership. Would you plan to event him?
"Galloping" along from my chair in Canada! Tonic a great ride! Thanks for posting.
Tonic has a very good sensible brain on him as do you! So beautiful to watch you both. Tonic doesn't get caught up in the "drama". You are an accomplished, calm, sensible rider and you make a wonderful pair. Tonic is so enjoying himself as are you! You're a wonderful pair the two of you!
The lady next to you at the start was bit less it’s so cool that her horse always chill enough to hunt like that❤
Love going out with the farmers bloodhounds
Oh Lord, at 17:40 I was sure she was going to ram you and Tonic. Well done!
Your horse seems like he's getting better every time out-- great job!
Another great day. That was a lot of ground covered.
So happy to "ride along" on this gallop! 20 miles...wow. you are so fortunate to have the places to ride. Here owners are fencing and posting all the trails we used to ride on.
exactly my thoughts ...
Truly incredible! I am riding through your camera ! This is as close as I will ever get to cross country. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!
hi! check out Elisa Wallace, she has hundreds of videos like this and they’re great quality too!
I agree! I'm riding instead of Monty! I wish I were that brave...
My 'posse', as my gran called us, used to ride over hill and dale like this, daily, mostly bareback and sometimes barefoot. But in our location half the farmers would run us out of their fields lol.
That was our fun when we weren't training for shows. I think the horses loved it too, they were never sour and always willing.
What a lovely horse tonic is. He’s such a nice active listener. Even for those long stretches of canter his ears flick back every once in a while. I love that!!!
What a listener he is. ❤️ I loved going along for the ride. Thank you!
Tonic appears to be such a smooth calm horse, perfect for hunting.
Looked like a great day.
By heck Monty! 😊 Tonic has got a massive jump in him - for such a young lad! 🤩He keeps up well for his age too! 🤩 Was that the first time you've jumped a wire fence on him?
Loving the view from behind those lovely grey ears - always facing forwards - with the odd flick back to you - "I am listening to you Dad - honest I am!" 😇🥰 Keep 'em coming Monty boyo - love from North Wales! 🤗
Umm regarding wire fence..I have never jumped over one and I hope never too...asking for trouble..what a great ride though..
Delightful, every mile! Thanks so much for sharing another incredible ride on Tonic!😎
Looks like such fun and what great exercise but some of those riders are SO careless, aren't there rules about cutting people off etc?
Find myself saying, "well done Tonic"! He must be rather fit!
I have so many questions! It seems like miles of running! Great job setting your camera angle,. Very exciting. Thx
Amazing view from Tonic! And have to love a polite and respectful hunt/fieldmaster.
What a horse Tonic is. He is a champion 🏆
What an amazing stretch of countryside, Looks like a great day had by all
Great job Tonic, thanks for sharing Monty
I get such a thrill watching your videos I feel like I’m sitting there riding with you on tonic LOL great footage
My first time seeing this. Love it. Your horse is great.
this always looks like accidents are just about to happen at any minute.
Absolutely brilliant well done both of you. Tonic just flies over the jumps effortlessly. Looks like you had a great day.
What a fabulous horse. Love his floppy relaxed but attentive ears. He doesn't seem stressed at all.
A happy horse isn't stressed.
Tonic is a scopey jumper!,when they get a bit bigger he just keeps going, great ride 👍
Ааааа, amazing!!! 🌹🌹👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
From Russia with love!
Jumping that wire was extremely unsafe, the horses can get tangled and that can cause serious injuries. One of the horses at my farm tried jumping the electric tape, he got tangled and panicked. Sadly they had to put him down because the injuries got so bad.
Great horse! Looks wild, to my eyes.
Wow what a ride, Tonic is a super horse I am sure you are so proud of him.
The hunting season just whizzed past.
Tonic is the goodest good boy and you ride him so nicely
Excellent run! Fabulous
Love watching these. Your videos are the best riding videos on UA-cam!
Well done tonic
Love watching you and Tonic on such fantastic rides!!
Can’t wait to watch & my favourite Mr Tonic 😍
Thanks so much for posting. I really enjoyed watching.
Love love love Tonic. Looked like a fabulous day for a hunt, too.
Love this. Thank you for taking me along for the ride!
That was just brilliant. What a super horse Tonic is.
Looked like it was a lot of fun!
You have the most exciting equestrian videos!
Bloody brilliant! Must have missed this one..been following you for abut a year and just found this! Fabulous as always. love it. You and Tonic are awesome. You all must be so fit to keep galloping for so long.
The real foxhunter. & horse are fit. Conditioning to endure 4-5 hrs on the field. It's a demanding sport.
Heaven is a day out with your horse.
I love it. I love my hunter. A professional. Smarter than many people.
This looks like so much fun 🤩🥳
You are growing so fast!
this would be my horses dream
Your horse Tonic is an honest boy. He gives you his all. I was surprised that he made that jump after the sharp left han for turn. Then, galloping along and made the jump over, electric fence tape? I didn't see it. Great job out there!
fantastic!
White horse- amazing
i love watching these videos, ik i want to be able to do this at one point but i dont think ill get to that stage in my riding:,)
Ooooo Notgrove. I’ve met at Notgrove in the past. Tonic is so utterly genuine. As he gets older he will build that muscle and stamina. But I just love his balance and rhythm. He’s a natural across the country.
I also do hunting 🎉❤😊
WoW !
the big guy seems to be in much better shape you must have exercised him alot.....👍
what happened at the hedge at 22,00.....sounded painful....hope all your parts are alright 😉
@9:55. What the hell was she thinking. 🤷🏼♂️
Seems safer riding at the front, keeping out of the charge at fences. Tonic is a wonderful horse.
its hit and miss to be fair. If you look at his other videos there can be twats at the front too. Monty nearly got knocked off his horse in one cause a guy gave a poor line, lacked impulsion and then yanked his horse to the left and into Tonic
Would love to see his form going over the jumps.
I think the leader wanted you behind her.
Tonic is turning into an awesome hunter. Are you going to event him?
Good video but I feel for those horses galloping and jumping. How often do you slow down to let them have a breather?
I was wondering, how do they make these huge routes? Is it a certain track that you follow, or is it completely random and you never know beforehand where you guys will be going? Been wondering that for a while now :P
I really want to go out on a hunt so bad
i understand red ribbon but whats blue?
Late reply, but a blue ribbon in the tail (which can also be represented by a yellow ribbon) means the horse is a stallion and to be wary.
Respect to the fitness of the horses and the riders...but I must say that person who kept cutting people up with their horse...riding across people...so dangerous.
@@jt7945 Now I understand what is meant by "x-country-riding".
Some these people are worse than drives in cars. Just cutting right in front of you.
16.42 what was that? An electric fence? A wire fence? Bladdy irresponsible man!!!
? p̲r̲o̲m̲o̲s̲m̲
Show us the footage of you ripping our foxes to shreds !?
