The truck the keeps giving! Doing a swap on the steering box and getting rid of the clunking steering.

Around 6 months back I had the intermediate shaft replaced with a dorman one and now its rattling again. Already bearing is new. So ordering AC delco part this time

You My friend have the best video on replacing the steering box on the internet for Classic Duramax. I seen a lot of novice videos. Also you show the steering wheel seat belt trick too so you don't break the steering clock spring. I searched for this video so I could figure out how to torque that pitman arm to the box without it being in the truck. You nailed it. 💪🏻

Be careful with redhead. Put one on my truck due to my factory one leaking and having a lot of play only to have tis one be the exact same way within 6 months. Never got around to warrantying it due to my truck being a daily. Ill probably end up taking it out and resealing it myself when I have the time.

I got 2k miles on it now with no issues. But that said I would go blue cap steering box. Cheaper and I heard great things
