Sarah Louise French - You Can Thank Me Later (original)

- A year and a half ago I up and left a corner office corporate position to pursue my passion for the arts. It was not an easy decision, but one that needed to be made for my sanity and happiness in this ONE life I have to live. All too often people get caught up in chasing money or for that next big thing to buy or promotion to get, but at the end of the day that’s not what it’s all about. As the great Buddhist philosopher, Alan Watts once put it:
“We thought of life by analogy with a journey, a pilgrimage, which had a serious purpose at the end, and the thing was to get to that end, success or whatever it is, maybe heaven after you’re dead. But we missed the point the whole way along. It was a musical thing and you were supposed to sing or to dance while the music was being played”
Live for every day people, chase your dreams, find your passions, don’t worry about the money - live your fullest truth.
You can thank me later 😉
Enjoy
Remember what you see in the mirror today. Don't change a thing. Just beautiful Girl, thank you❤
Sarah...Just beautiful !!!
❤
Beautiful song and wonderful sentiments on life… thank you! 😊 Even your pup is chilling out!! 😂
What a great song!
This is a lovely song, Sarah. Best wishes from the UK.
Thank you 🙏🥰
...it's not so much the what, more the who. Not the why, the how. Not so much the experience but the perspective and yes, in the end, the gratitude
Good lyrical song. Lyrically reminds me of "El Condor Pasa" "I'd rather be a hammer than a nail...yes I would."
Big fan of S&G! ♥️
@@sarahlouisefrench Yeah, I grew up with their music. Brilliant stuff. I recorded El Condor Pasa. It's under Popular Vids on my channel. So your song is autobiographical then. I just read your comments. Not many people can leave the work grind and do what they love. Impressive. Second time around in listening. I like it.
You made the right decision
Very relaxing
One of the happiest most together persons I ever met was a roadie for ten years for the Allman Brothers. We spent over an hour talking and he told me a story of a fellow who had written a great song, an unknown guy, that he thought would be great for John Denver. The fellow camped for a week outside the fence of Denver’s land before John Denver went to see him. Long story short Denver recorded the song. Your views are way, way too low for your talents. Why not send this to Emily Linge and have her do a piano arrangement. I am sure you will copyright the song before you do that. Being able to write a good original song is a very rare talent.
Who’s Emily Linge? Would be so happy to have someone record my songs :)
Only an acoustic guitar, and good voice. When song is nice, you do need anything more.
Beautiful song, beautiful woman.
Sarah the Amazing 🎤🌹
Fixing my comment. When song is good, you do not need anything more!
Thanks 👍⚘
Wow!
