After my diagnosis of osteoporosis, I thought I would have to give up yoga for good due to all of the poses that I quickly learned were not good for my bones. I am so grateful to have found your channel. I'm now working to regain the strength and flexibility I lost during my sabbatical from yoga, while actually doing something good for my bone health. Thank you so much for sharing these great videos.
Susannah, I can’t thank you enough for your yoga videos! Today I was able to touch my left shoulder during warrior pose!!! I had elbow surgery on my shattered elbow in mid November and my surgeon didn’t think I’d ever be able to do that! I see him tomorrow and can’t wait to show him that I have full range of movement again! I love our Strong bones group!!!❤
Hi Susannah, I was looking for exercises for Osteoporosis to start the day with. I have not exercised for a long time due to a concussion that the symptoms would not go away, and I came across your video. I managed to do pretty much everything and truly enjoyed your style of teaching and felt at ease. Thank you for giving me such a peaceful start to my day. Looking forward to your other videos.
btw, I particularly love how you always incorporate toes exercises in your practices because I have a painful bunion and like to exercise my feet and toes. Thanks again.
This is new!! Great poses and great breathing and open postures, i grabbed my weights and did “lawn mower” at one point! Thank you Susannah, always a beneficial workout with you🥰
Thanks Susannah. I like how you work on every part of our bodies. Feeling good finally, after being away to NY for 10 days and then came home to deal with a bad cold. This exercise is a good start back up.
This was my first time with the "challenge" yoga class. I'm pretty good with all of the challenges except for one: getting up from the floor "hands free"! It'll take some practice but I'll get there!!!! Thanks for a great video!!!!
this was a wonderful, satisfying session. i so appreciate your making it available on youtube so i can work with you on the days i don't have my zoom yoga classes.
Susannah - I can not tell how grateful I am to have found your channel. I have been recently diagnosed with osteoporosis and filled with fear that I would be doomed to a world without yoga. You have given me the hope that I will be able to continue to practice and hopefully build some strength along the way. This was a marvellous class with great cuing to keep the postures safe. I look forward to working through your other videos. Thank you 🙏 😊
Very nice! My body feels better with these nice power stretches after all my outside work yesterday. I did add the locust pose to my practice. The music at the end was delightful.
Hi Susannah this is my first time viewing your video, but not new to yoga or exercise. Is this yoga class ok for bulging disc? I have some lumbar issues currently dealing with and want to be safe. Also want to strengthen my spine to keep strong bones. Thanks so much! You are a blessing.
This was my first time doing yoga with you. I liked it a lot! I've been doing chair yoga/pilates, which is very good for stretching, but I was needing more strength training and more time on the ground. This was perfect! I will return. I subscribed!
Thank you Susannah! This was lovely. Hopefully I too will manage to reverse my osteoporosis that I found out about 10 days ago. Thank you also for the email that you sent me. I really enjoyed seeing the view from your window. Which city is this?
Thank you for your new video. I’m always a fun. Btw, in the other practice I did with you, you said one bridge a day, keep the bone density at bay. I thought you meant to say, a bridge a day, keep the bone loss at bay. 🙂
Lateral flexion should be modified with osteoporosis. Sorry to be e negative some of these moves should not be done in lateral flexion with salients who have low bone density
Depends on an individual's level of fracture risk. The movements here are not done to extremes and would be strengthening and beneficial for most people with low bone density. Anyone at high risk should consult with a qualified physical therapist or doctor to determine appropriate movements.
Thank you..never thought I could these poses....I was able to do them ❤

Just found you. I’ve done extreme yoga for years but now that I have osteoporosis I find strong and steady better. Thank you for your content.
Hi Jill! Extreme yoga has it's time and place....until our bodies need to focus on strength and mobility! Glad you found this video helpful!
