    I didn’t think we were supposed to do any twisting of the spine.

      Gentle twisting is ESSENTIAL to do! We twist everyday in life so we better practice it in yoga/exercise class! Be sure to go only to about 50% of your ability, never to an extreme place. That said: If you are at high risk for fractures (have had previous compression fractures) you should follow the guidance of your doctor or PT.

    Hi what can I substitute for the heel lifts? I have plantar fasciitis and when I do that I pay for it later.

      Hi Jennifer, if you have PF I recommend you do some great foot exercises to help it heal. I have a specific stretch I have done and recommend. You could have a ball (a yoga tune-up ball is great, but a tennis or lacross ball will work) near by and massage the bottom of your foot instead of heel bouncing during the session. If your goal is to substitute with an alternate impactful movement you'll need to experiment. Wearing sneakers you could try step ups.
