Hello Allison and Jessica, I want to ask about academic writing and research skills. Do you offer this course separately and in an extended period longer than a 9 week term maybe 20 weeks? I ask about this so we can really improve our academic writing and research skills. I look forward to your response at your earliest convenience. Thank you Allison and Jessica.

    • @uopeople

Hi Tekaai, our English Composition 2 course is the course to take to improve academic writing. Also, our Foundational courses foster effective communication, teach critical research and writing skills, and expand the capacity for quantitative reasoning. Keep in mind that each of our courses lasts for 9 weeks: we do not offer courses that last for more than 9 weeks.

Yes you can 호빵맨! We have academic partnership with NYU, which enables UoPeople students to apply to NYU Abu Dhabi Campus after their first year of studying with us. Our academic partnerships with University of California Berkeley and the University of Edinburgh enable our students to apply to complete their BA studies on campus there. Outside of our academic partnerships, the transfer-ability of credits is completely at the discretion of each individual university, as is the case for all transfer students to all universities across the world. For that reason, we have created a partnership with the above universities and we are working towards signing additional agreements with more academic institutions.
We are proud that many of our students and graduates have continued their studies at universities around the world such as University of Delaware, Western Governors University, Hawaii Pacific University, University of Auckland (New Zealand), University of Nairobi (Kenya), Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), Carnegie Mellon University (Australia), University of Newcastle (Australia) and many more.

      Thanks for your interest
مريم عمران! You should apply for any of our undergraduate programs which interests you. We offer Associate and Bachelor degrees in Computer Science, Health Science, Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching (M.Ed.) program. For more information about our degree programs, feel free to visit our website: www.uopeople.edu/programs/ You will be able to apply for scholarship to help you with the course assessment fees -- after you have been admitted. I must also inform you that the available scholarships are limited and they are awarded to students on a first-come-first-served basis, and we do not guarantee that all students will receive scholarships. If you already started your online application, please send an email to your admissions advisor or to admissions@uopeople.edu to request for a grant to assist you with the application fee.

Thanks for asking مريم عمران . Health Science and Medicine are not the same. We do not offer a program in Medicine at this time. When we add more programs, we will post an update on our website and our social media channels.
