- Since early 2022, a highly pathogenic strain of avian flu otherwise known as bird flu has killed more than 85 million birds in the US. Now this same strain has spread to cows, infecting herds in 8 states and a Texas dairy worker who is the first human to contact the avian flu from a mammal. TRT World’s Martin Markovits reports.

I live in the far north so getting fresh produce is hard to get mid winter in a remote community. Are you able to give me some tips as I don't want to increase my carbon foot print by shipping fresh produce hundereds of miles into the tundra. I won't do canning because I don't feel it is safe alternative. I have small children I have to feed as well and temperatures can hit minus 30 so caloric intake is a must.
Your situation is an exception although your own hydroponic greenhouse garden would be a novel idea for fast growth healthy abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits @pizzmo8256
