Black Seas French Frigate - using l'Hermione as inspiration for a 1/700 model for wargame

- Continuing with the Black Seas Master & Comander Starter Set, this time I paint one of the frigates as French.
I still don't know which nation to decide on, so I try the French colors I have seen on the page of the reconstructed frigate l'Hermione: fregate-hermione.com/en/
Warlord Games has an appropriate version for this ship, I just used the same color scheme applied on one of the generic Master & Comander frigates, we'll see if I end up buying the French ships, for now they seem like a balanced choice.
A special miniature for me, as I have painted it after a cataract surgery, fortunately it seems that I have not lost my mojo, but before I could paint with my naked eye thanks to my myopia and now I must use magnifying glasses.... like almost all of us. That's why I started the figure timidly, for example I made the sails simpler than usual, but as I progressed I could see that I will be able to continue with our hobby at full capacity.
I hope you enjoy the video!

Awesome job and great video!
Very appreciated!
Hey, I think I'm first. By the way, I'm not sure the "1812 Overture" may be the best choice for immortalizing a French ship. That said. the art work is amazing as always. Looking toward the next one. Well done!
Certainly, although the Marseillaise is played, it is only to remember the beating they were given... 😰 As here in Catalonia we have been having fireworks for Saint John's Day and it's not long before Independence Day in the USA, I think my subconscious has led me to use it 🥳 Thank you for your comment!
@@MinisMyWay All good history and well said. I'm no Napoleonic historian but but as I recall there was a fair amount of French "beating" that happened on the peninsula earlier in that war. Next time.
It's funny, this is my frigate! I'm sailor on aboard :)
Arrrr! XD Thank you!
I do love some windy boat game
We all like them! thanks for the comment!
