There are several possible reasons why it might be difficult or impossible to add three more knobs. First, there might not be room for the additional wires and knobs inside the box. Secondly, maybe they have no more room on the pcb for six more wire connections. Maybe there are chips in the spaces where it looks like a knob can go. Do I think I'll have a hard time remembering to adjust the secondaries and then the primary functions? No. I might forget if it hangs out in a drawer for a few months and then comes out for a session or a show, though. Let's be honest, there are 4 distortions, a sub octave, a trem, a filter and a stepper to control the filter. Maybe if they double the size of the box, they could have a knob for everything. The thing where the knobs don't necessarily represent the value that the pedal is currently using is definitely confusing and challenging. Sometimes a wonky interface can help serendipity show you a sound you wouldn't have found normally. I'll be having fun with it.
I absolutely adore mine and love to use it as like a univibe octafuzz and then bring in my Vox wah to go with it and it sounds amazing. I've also got the Vezzpa and Fatbee and love them as well. These pedals are not for everybody but they are for everybody they are for if you know what I mean. LOL!
The biggest knobble on the board,... EytschPi42! Thanks for a great review. We can only imagine how it would have turned out if you had had 1-2 days or 1-2 weeks to play with the three knobbles and three switch-knobbles on this pedal!
First of all the sounds of this pedals are great. But I struggle to see how to use it in a band context. And I totally agree that the secondary functions are not a good idea. The latter is also the reason I like (normal) pedals more than multieffects/modellers. With standard pedals I see where the parameters are and have direct access to them. With many multieffects and modellers that is not the case. There are few exceptions of course. Great demo though and I'm looking forward for the whole song video. When you make this song Henning, could you try also using it on bass. I would be very interested in that.
Very beautiful pedal, and sounds nice. There could be a lot of ideas for songs actually, lots of songs use synths along with guitar, this will fit well. Waiting on the song you'll write. Epic review and pedal. I find the not more knobs idea alright, as even if you buy a simple synthesizer you'll need to memorize a lot of things, how the buttons record, save presets, load midi's, and so on. Enjoyed the video a lot! :)
I got mine yesterday, and it's the most fun I've had with a pedal, in a very long time. The fuzz is awesome, and the other things it does, are just icing. I glanced at the book, for a couple of things, but mostly, I was able to start making music, immediately. That's the test, for me. If I have to spend too much time getting something to sound good, I will get bored, and leave it alone. This is worth the time, to delve into the functionality of it. I said the same thing. How the hell did they do this? They are hand painted. Rhett Schull went to LA, to the shop. Very good video. It's still a small company, and they have tons of color options, for about $100 more. I just got the standard model..lol! Thanks for this video..It is extremely helpful!
Relief? I would choose the word Embossed to avoid any misinterpretation ;-) The Zombeeee brings nothing new technological, but hey - it's Beetronics, the MrGugu of pedals, right? And it's cleverly designed. Henning, If the pedal would be made polyphonic, the price would be at least twice as high. You gotta love it as it is.
@@EytschPi42 yeah, you're as thorough as anyone can be. I've done purchases based on your videos but this pedal is crazy. Even in an hour, you kept saying there's not enough time. I can't wait for the music video of this pedal.

Henning, I think, the color filling of the front plate is not ink painted, but made of glass enamel. It's a great piece of art!

Beetronics pedals are a work of art and a challenge for players. Love them!

This whole thing is maaaad
Will buy it at one point, feels like you could get an album worth of sounds out of this one
Yes!
Extra knobs/switch would’ve been a great idea but they’re probably too obsessed with their artwork 😂
What an odd box of sound! Those guys make some of the best looking pedals on the market!
A 1 hour video?! Sheeeesh I better go get myself a coffee to be zzombeefied 🤣
You probably meant bee zzombeefied m'lady 😂
That makes my brain hurt. Cool pedal nice demo.
I like it but I wouldn’t know what to do with it musically, I would fiddle endlessly without getting anywhere.
a trully piece of art!

Beetronics released a new pedal? Time to see what all the buzz is about.
Okay, okay, I am leaving.
That comment stung.... I told myself i'd beehave and not comment... but i'd feel sticky if i left it.
Honey.
Shit, can we talk about that guitar plz?! :P
That makes my brain hurt. Cool pedal, great demo. I just don’t see this being really useful.
Henning needs more knobs 😂
Doesn't seem like a "set and forget" type of pedal
Listen to Frank Zappa ship ahoy.
You just sold one...
I could see John frusciante using one of these…
