And now that I've watched. All I can say is it's a beautiful result. Time well spent sir. Did you consider installing roof rigging for swinging the camera or audio down from above to leave even more floor space?
Just finished watching, and I came away with 5 things: 1.) Painter’s Caulk is the Nuln Oil of the home improvement industry. 2.) Never invite Wyloch into my house with all its quarter round… or at least distract from said quarter round by pointing out that the flooring is all Pergo. 3.) All of proper civilization is held together with drywall screws. 4.) When in doubt, ask Wifeloch. 5.) Every workshop needs a toaster. 🤣 Seriously, dude, this is an AMAZING build! I'm already in need of re-organizing/updating my craft room, and I've saved this video to my 'watch later' list so I can use it as a reference. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to many more videos shot here!
The absolute ENERGY of those long white socks and the dirty new balances is palpable, that's a man on a MISSION, everybody else better watch out! Great vid, got me inspired to do some tidying in my own workshop/home office, and declutter, organize, and make the place EXCITING to hobby in again!
1. Limiting your Warhammer purchases like that smacks of heresy! 2. You should try out some of those furniture carpet gliders. They’re awesome for moving heavy furniture around. I think I’ve even moved loaded bookshelves with those.
Wyloch doing a low-key dad thirst trap video was not on my bingo card but we don't kink shame in this family. Also: Get some drop lights for your table! Something that you get out of the way but bring in tight for close ups. Then you get the extra joy of building a little crank to lower and raise it...
That's pretty awesome. My feng shui brain is cringing at the desk putting your back to the door. I'd flip it to the right to put the door beside you but that's just me. I don't want ninjas sneaking in and seeing what I'm looking at All told, that's an awesome build and I'd happily use it. Particularly that nebula effect on the table to make it pop and not blend in with the rest of the space
There is something satisfying watching a man renovate his house and work space - when I buy a house we'll be doing the same to set up a game cave and I can hardly wait.
I sure hope the ventilation in that room is top notch with a resin printer sitting in there, or at least a air quality monitor to make sure things aren't getting dicey
It's so satisfying to see where improvements can be made, visualize the solutions, then make them reality, and have them work. Well done, Sir. Well done... :)
Nice to see you get a happy space. In the UK, despite what you see on Downton Abbey, most of us live in tiny homes with no basement, I personally sleep on the floor in my living room and what was supposed to be the bedroom is my hobby space. Don't feel sorry for me, I love sleeping on the floor and my hobby space is my happy space. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the new area.
"I wonder what would happen if I actually applied myself." I relate to your need for this build quite a bit, but I relate to the above statement even more. Thanks for yet another down to earth and inspiring hobby video.
As a guy who's just built a large shed dedicated to the exact same thing, this is exactly what I needed to see today! Can't wait to see what's to come!
The fact that I did recognize most of the projects you have on the shelves tells a lot about how long I've been watching this channel. Nice work on the renovation!
There are so many things you have said that hit home, as I look over at my stack of drywall screw boxes, the keeping off cuts for ever, because you never know...All things I picked up from my dad.
So basically, locking Wyloch in a room full of clutter and chaos is hell on earth to him. And you know what? I feel that. Sometimes, a change of scenery is all it takes to renew a passion - and here it was demonstrated =)
So awesome. I love that you use your window well as a spray booth 😆 And yes basement bedrooms by code must have an egress ladder it is a certain height👍
Been watching your videos since the beginning and seeing this project come to fruition is as exciting for me as it is for you. Can't wait to see all the magnificent creations you're going create in this new space.
The old space was functional, the new space looks energizing to work in. Can't wait to see the projects you get up to in there... Hopefully more Neon Skies adjunct builds!
Oh man. That was awesome. Watching someone who actually knows how to build stuff and then get it done was totally cool. Mucho respect dude. I love DIY stuff and I love this hobby so this was like a total winning combo of both and wow! What a room. A room of dreams. Have fun dude. It rocks 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Bro, I can't believe it has been 10 YEARS!! Your new digs are amazing. Love your channel and your whole "vibe". Can't wait to see what comes next for ya
Your content has always been awesome, and my personal fav is the BG series and the complete dungeon series. Now I can’t imagine what would happen if you actually applied yourself, it would probably blow my mind!
My parents is had a basement with hopper windows below grade level. Dad hated it when it would rain, one of them leaked. He bought a plastic cover for it, like a half bubble. Might get one of them
Im moving soon and hope to get a dedicated craft room built in the barn. It would bring me some joy. Ive loved your videos for a long time and can't wait to see what happens when you decide to go full steam. Keep your health paramount!
Great renovation of your workshop. I like the new color scheme. I am certainly jealous of the granite countertop workbench. Also I didn't realize how big some of your projects were. It definitely looks like you can build a full 28 mm heroic scale fantasy city. All the Baulder's Gate and other buildings look amazing.
Amazing!! Couldn't have dropped at a more perfect time for me. Today I literally started unboxing and building out my craft and game rooms at my new house. Thank you as always for the constant inspiration!
Amazing transformation! Great looking space. Love the set up. I have been looking to equip my crafting pace with a new look and now I have some great ideas. Thank y oh for another great video!
super cool video - fun to see you put your skills into something slightly different but still very related to the hobby also just some great hobby space inspiration!
Fantastic, what a glow up, love all the lighting. My brother and I moved into a condo that was a smoker unit and we did the majority of the renos ourselves (it was mostly him, I helped 😂), it took quite a while, but it was so satisfying when it was done.
Congrats on this beautiful remodel project. Having such a nice space for your hobbies is definitely going to boost your passion for them. This is something for all of us to consider, lets love the places where we do the things we love!
Wow nice looking setup big thanks was hoping for a room tour let alone a full room build. Glad you have a true professional setup now, can't wait to see your new coming up projects
looks like a huge upgrade! good to see the toaster box got a place of honor in the new set up. One super minor thing might be to cover up the shiny black of the shelves to reduce light glare. maybe a matte finish duct tape or drawer liner stuff? scared me with the counter lift, I thought for sure discs were slipping! glad to see you both got through unscathed.
That improvement Wyloch looks amazing, I know exactly the feeling of making the space enjoyable to be able to craft, it is somehow vital to enjoy the space to do good crafting
Super set-up! I'm still with the multiple styled shelves, bare concrete slab and unfinished ceiling in my basement Ogre's Den. Frankly getting tired of it. I don't think I'll go for such a nice finish as you have but it does inspire me to upgrade.
Blimey no wonder you haven't had any "bandwidth" recently, that's a hell of a job! Looks great though and can't wait to see what you start building now 😀
Looks great. Please make sure you have proper ventilation for that resin printer. Not trying to be judgement, just saying this because I care and enjoy what you do.
Dude this is AMAZING. Of course not surprised that you pulled this off with ease. Excited to see what you create in there. My wife's studio needs to follow suit 👀.
Looks amazing! Gives me a little extra push to get my large workshop up and running. (literally, needs to be 6 foot off the ground due to regular flooding in my area). All of my wood working and metal working needs out of small projects work space so I can use it lol. Thanks man. Perfect timing.
been working on remodeling my game room, its been 12 months so far. But had to replumb, re wire, new windows, re insulate, re frame..... its been a nightmare. Did it all myself. This weekend hanging the last pieces of sheetrock and mudding so will be doing it this weekend so i can install the floor and trim and finally move in!!!!
Really cool to see the process behind renovating your workspace, and I have to say the quick aside of the starfield for your workbench is probably something I'll come back to once or twice down the road when I need a really straightforward tutorial on making a great looking starfield.
When my wife and I finally are able to start shopping for our forever home, a basement is at the top of my want list specifically for having a suitably large, dedicated hobby/gaming space. We have a "craft room" right now, but it's just the smallest bedroom in the house. Hopefully, something we can do before I turn 50!
Awesome work! I guess there is nothing stopping you now to start an Icewind dale build series I have been rooting for 😉 Good luck with your new setup, can't wait to see your future projects. Thumbs up from Croatia.

Getting my comment in before watching, but I'm intrigued to find out how Graphix Medium chipboard makes it into the final mix - and gems.
And now that I've watched. All I can say is it's a beautiful result. Time well spent sir.
Did you consider installing roof rigging for swinging the camera or audio down from above to leave even more floor space?
@@RedBairnMedia I'm lookin into options for that - not happy with how my current floods perform in this new geometry.
What a great space, lookin' sharp too

New workshop is looking sweet man! Can't wait to see what you got cooking next.

I gave myself a huge hobby desk with tons of storage and a huge section of my basement. I don’t have enough room. Lol
I can relate to this!
Your wife is a total gem. You have a beautiful family Wyloch. The new workshop looks amazing too.
The new workshop looks so good! It's nice to see you repurpose your old granite worktop and some of your old wood
It's so satisfying to see where improvements can be made, visualize the solutions, then make them reality, and have them work. Well done, Sir. Well done... :)
So awesome. Now I need to brainstorm how to make my Arizona garage more hobby friendly during our 7 month summer 😂
Can relate to “everything is built with drywall screws”

Loving the renovated space! I can’t emphasize enough how much a well organized work area just improves every aspect
The fact that I did recognize most of the projects you have on the shelves tells a lot about how long I've been watching this channel.
Nice work on the renovation!
"Normally I save all my off cuts for 5 years before I eventually decide to throw them out" LOL - I feel you on this
woot woot! our adopted crafting dad has got himself an upgrade!
There are so many things you have said that hit home, as I look over at my stack of drywall screw boxes, the keeping off cuts for ever, because you never know...All things I picked up from my dad.
Awesome makeover - I love how you reused the material and that workbench is fire!
Probably the most inspirational Wyloch video I've seen. I should revamp my office/hobby space.
lol the box shots at 17:28 - rocks, roads, TOASTER
Having a granite tabletop for a work surface is such a flex. Wyloch be like, no big deal. Just something I had laying around the house.
That's a great workspace! Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing
So basically, locking Wyloch in a room full of clutter and chaos is hell on earth to him. And you know what? I feel that.
Sometimes, a change of scenery is all it takes to renew a passion - and here it was demonstrated =)
Great transformation and great to see this family support.
Wylock. I'm glad your still going strong!!!!
Looks great for the time and what you did! I love you have made it primarily functional and not some threatre backdrop.
Alexa just turned on every smart light in my house in response to your command in the video :)
Mine caught that and said, "I couldn't understand you, did you mean 'Cat Light' - and yes, one light in my house is named for my three cats.
So awesome.
I love that you use your window well as a spray booth 😆
And yes basement bedrooms by code must have an egress ladder it is a certain height👍

Your setup is amazing, and as always I'm jealous of the people that get to play at your table LOL.
Living the dream. That's a hell of a workshop.
Nice hobby room! I'm happy for you! It's always nice to have a nice hobby place of our own! :)
Gigantic like two rooms glued in to one.
Bro, I can't believe it has been 10 YEARS!! Your new digs are amazing. Love your channel and your whole "vibe". Can't wait to see what comes next for ya
Missed opportunity to paint the walls "with god's gift to humanity rustoleum 2x flat grey" 🤣🤣 great job on the room 👍
Your content has always been awesome, and my personal fav is the BG series and the complete dungeon series. Now I can’t imagine what would happen if you actually applied yourself, it would probably blow my mind!
Gratz on the new workshop/hobby room Wyloch, it looks great looking forward to your first build video in it.
I thought he was going to paint the walls a brownish - grayish Graphix Medium chipboard color
Thanks for commanding my Alexa 😂
My parents is had a basement with hopper windows below grade level. Dad hated it when it would rain, one of them leaked. He bought a plastic cover for it, like a half bubble. Might get one of them
Well done. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Wow, what a great transformation!
Just look at those biceps! Wyloch: "touch my muscles, and they're just from painting miniatures!"
I also cant enjoy my hobby after seeing this.
Ill be sending you my reno bill. Appreciate it.
Im moving soon and hope to get a dedicated craft room built in the barn. It would bring me some joy. Ive loved your videos for a long time and can't wait to see what happens when you decide to go full steam. Keep your health paramount!
Congrats on the renovated Workshop ! I am planning mine in this period and it helped me a ton !
Fun video, missed you at Mythic Con this year. I hope all is well. See you next year.

Your workshop is looking absolutely amazing ,great job!
Jealous of that outdoors spray booth!
looks like a huge upgrade! good to see the toaster box got a place of honor in the new set up. I'm so pumped for new videos from this space. Great Job wit renovation and space management.

Turned out sick!
All teasing aside, GRATZ on that Amazing Build.!.!.!.!.! You, sir, deserve it.!.!.!
Well, 'applying yourself' got you a remodeled workshop, soooo . . . let's see where it takes you! 😁
Congrats on the "new" room! 😀 Here's to more neat build videos in the future.
Looks great. Please make sure you have proper ventilation for that resin printer. Not trying to be judgement, just saying this because I care and enjoy what you do.
Great Work! Another level of inspiring. Keep up the great content.

Fabulous job, Bill. No surprise, though. You rock!
Cool video. Wish you the best in your new space.
Soo awesome. The whole set up. Well done Wyloch!
The armory looks awesome !!! Well done and congrats.
Fantastic video, I hope you enjoy your new space. You've earned (well deserved) a new subscriber!
Man this was super inspiring. Great job!
Looking jacked my man! Good to see the sick upgrade. Looks like like night and day down there.
I gotta tell you Wyloch, this is mad motivating. Wonderful video!

Amazing transformation. I wish I'd be able to have a workstation like that at one point.

That room looks so good!!!! ❤ VERY nice work sir!
Nothing like a good reset!!!😊
Outstanding!
Looks awesome! (And is giving me all the ideas for when I finally get the chance to have my own workshop/game room)
