In this video, I'll explain how to make a nice, full mid-bass patch in Spire for use in Uplifting Trance, used as a rolling bassline (I tend not to use offbeat basslines and instead use arpeggiated 16th-notes).
Amazing! Thank you so much for showing this tutorial. I watched the sub-bass tutorial as well, and suddenly... I started creating high-quality music! !!!!!
What ever u do sounds so pleasent.
I really hope you make more videos on bass design! This is gold! Thank you.
Great man ! Happy to find this channel ! I will check out your tutorials ! And waiting for your Spire presets for sure ! Keep it up ! 👍🎧
Excellent video & tutorial & tips ❤thanks
Mate this is amazing!!!! Please keep them coming!!!
So, what's that Kevin Murphy book you were googling on your browser? Machine learning related, perhaps?
so is only 2 layers ? incredible mate
I always struggle with my mid bass levels, should my mid bass sit between my kick and my sub roughly in dB ?
can you make this sound with harmless??
Please submit the project you created
in the description of this video.
Can you send it?
This is a wonderful tutorial! I have one problem, though. I'm trying to do this in Sylenth1 and I keep getting phase cancellation artefacts because of the multiple voices of the first oscillator. It sounds like the sound is "jumping around" and once in a while it just sort of cuts out. Do you have a suggestion how I can resolve this? Would compression help? Or do I need to adjust the phase or the voices?
can you send the simple ones you have in this video?
Thanks
How I can make identical bassline with Nexus 2 or what Nexus 2 bass presets are best for trance ?
You cant make your own sounds, cause nexus is a rompler.
LFO Tool missing
What is the rolling bass instrument?is there any free vsts for bass i can find?
I used a plugin called Spire, but depending on what DAW you are using there are some good ones included in there. Honestly, any good subtractive synthesizer will be really good. One that I think is worth a download is a free one called Vital
nice!
