I feel the same way about my long gone '69 Belair. It came with a 327 and ohhh was it fast! Used to drive through the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station on PCH in excess of 100 mph. What a car! What a company! -mikenotpaula.

My dad bought a brand new 66 Impala. Nothing special, just a 4 door Impala (327 of course with the PowerGlide)
Mom passed in 1980, Dad in 2008
The car is long gone but the memories are still there.
Dad did remarry after several years to an absolutely wonderful woman, she was the lady that my kids knew as Grandma, but the memory of my mom was always there.
Just for the record, my dream car is a 64 Impala SS.
