Cant begin to tell you how much i love this band, so much so they inspired me to form one of my own and im gigging to this very day. Loved my manchester days.......
I used to love this song (& I wore the album out), and it just popped into my head after many years. Now it'll be in my head for a couple of weeks. Lucky me. Gotta love YT.
Love it, first heard it on Tape then went to a Record fair and bought it for 10 pound, obviously the dealer did not know what a brand new copy of One man clapping is worth especially on CD as there is an extra track, still got it and would never part with the memories.
Awesome - I was studying at Bath Uni as an Open University student and was on a top floor of block of flats just as the hot air balloon festival kicked in.....listening to this - I was watching the spectacle of the balloons listening to this. Wow
The Roses, Mondays, Carpets and Charlatans were all great, don't get me wrong but the weren't James were they?! Just a great voice and what sound the boys behind made...

beautiful song by a criminally underrated band! if pushed to choose my favourite james album i'd go for one man clapping..
They were great as a 4-piece. Superb drummer. I don’t listen to much after the Rough Trade releases of this, Come Home, and Sit Down.
Well said
