This was absolutely brilliant in every conceivable way! I can't wait to try out these rules myself. I am going to try and adapt them for the age of Samurai! Thank you so much for sharing!
@@7thson726 We "asked" and you delivered, not quite sure about the rules but too early to say for sure (have to watch more videos)....the table/models and participants are ace!
Your tables always look very cool. You should do a video sometime of how you set them up. I think it would be entertaining. Especially when it comes to all your scatter terrain and what looks to be sand/dirt for the roads.
Thanks, glad you like the set-up. I intend on doing a video with a bit of a time lapse and chat about how I do it and what I use. The roads are made from a ground mix I make mainly from baked dirt and random bits of scatter 👍
Thanks, I,ve gone even mader , I enjoyed your test game, now I,ve unpacked all my WOTR Ragged mins + big order from front rank along with Perry , and tommorow (dylexic) Atlantic , 2x boxes of Peasents and abox of Renaissance Heavy Cavalry. I now need a livery book.
Fabulous terrain - ('So good, I could smell the midden...'), beautiful figures, and a great narrative. Very enjoyable, especially the good humour, despite your amazingly bad shooting, and Robyn channelling Baldrick ! And you got a win, Martin ! (Your 2024 hoodoo has been broken !) Thanks to you both.
Miller's statement "There is going to be some fecklessness." might be my favourite part of this report! 🤣🤣 Thank you both for another amazing and entertaining game!! Keep up the great work!
Sitting here painting up my retinue while listening to battle report. Well done guys, it was a fun listen. My condolences to those poor dice as I can only imagine Robyn tossing them in the bin😝
This game has a lot of potential, especially with sublime tables like that one!!❤ Both your Man Cobb's archers & indeed the French, need to spend some quality time on the range, appalling archery from both sides!!!😂
I just subscribed to your channel. Love your videos. And your terrain battlefields are beyond amazing. One thing you may want to consider. For your miniatures, use clear bases with no terrain decor. When you have tall grass \ shrubbery on your base and your miniature is standing in a building, it doesn't look right.
Thanks very much, welcome aboard. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I have used clear bases before, but for board games and RPG's. Basing is a big part of the process that I enjoy for wargaming so I'd never lose it, even if it meant building a whole new board to accommodate the miniature 👍😁
Very entertaining, thank you both for showing us how the game plays out. The table really looked good . I would like to ask, where are the larger buildings from.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, the Larger buildings are from Printable Scenery, I just picked up the STL and printed one then I mirrored the file and printed it again just to have it looking slightly different 👍
The Two big ones in the middle are from Printable Scenery and the L shaped one I found for free on Cults. The others are a mix of MDF Sarissa and tabletop workshop kits 👍
Ok, I've watched a lot of 7thSon bat-reps now, and its time we all contributed to a fund to get Robyn some new dice - these blue monstrosities need to be retired. They never fail to bite him in the a**.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it buddy. We had a blast playing it and I'm looking forward to the next game. A samurai version would look amazing 👍
I am looking forward to this one! No doubt there will be nice terrain involved, friendly banter and well painted miniatures!
I can guarantee at least 2 of those things 😅

Great game - very absorbing - thanks for sharing, kicking myself I missed out of that issue now!!
Ah no, if you check out the FAQ on the FB page I think there is info on how you can get hold of it 👍
That was brilliant! Loved it. Hope to see more of these in the future
Awesome, that's great to hear. We will be playing more, next game will be more aggressive for sure 😁

Gorgeous looking table, certainly adds to the visible delights of the game.....
Thanks 😁
Perfect timing for my first day off for my weeks vacation!
I hope you enjoy it 😁
always very entertaining !!
Thanks 👍
Great game. I definitely want a game of this
It's good fun and makes you want to build a narrative around your forces 👍
What a stunning table!!! So jealous!!! Pre-emptive like and looking forward to the game...
Thanks 😁

Thanks. I'm not Miller though, he's the big ginger chap that loves the ECW. I'm the witty short guy.
@@rovensthat’s exactly what Miller would say
Thanks so much, really pleased you enjoyed it 😁👍

Haha they did go bad at the crucial moment 😅 I imagine there will be fresh ones next game. Thanks for watching
Thanks Martin and thanks Robin. Fun to watch.
Glad you enjoyed it, Thanks for watching 👍
Fantastic game. Great table and very dynamic game play. Looking forward to the next one.
Really appreciate that, thanks mate 👍 we had a great time

Thank you, glad you liked it 👍
Visuals are amazing!

Glad you enjoyed it my friend 👍

Haha they are on practice until the next game for sure 😅 thanks for watching buddy
Super report. Love the table
Thanks very much 👍
That was a fun watch. Those archers were obviously still a little sea sick, only way to explain all those missed shots!
Thats definitely the excuse I'm using now 😅
Awesome game mate, keep up the great work
Thanks buddy 👍
Cant wait man, looks like a good one!
Hope you enjoy it 👍
Brilliant game guys! Can't wait to play a game. That is a gorgeous table! ;)
Thank you 👍
hoohoo! How exciting! I can no longer make it to my game of Ruckus this evening so I shall watch from the outset
Awesome mate, hope you enjoy it, can't wait for you to see it 😁
Lovely game - well done.
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it 👍

@@7thson726 And that!!! is why you are the best of the best when it comes to miniature gaming tables. Killer statement. 👍👍
Looked like a great game with some ...interesting.. dice rolls. :)
Haha that's one way of putting it 😁 thanks for watching buddy
Baldric and his employer are rather annoyed that you've pulled off so many cunning plans successfully.
😅 that did pop to mind
excellent
Thanks 👍
Great game, very narrative. I like the combat options as well. I'm might use this mechanics for 3 musketeers .
That would be very cool, could have a lot of fun with parry/reposte 👍
My thoughts exactly…..
Grazie Martin,
You're welcome, hope you enjoyed it 👍

Thanks, that's a great help.
Great video. Interested in giving this a go. Martin, where are those buildings from? They look great.
Thanks very much. The 2 buildings with the grey and red roofs are from Printable Scenery, the large L shape building was a free STL I found on Cults 👍
I hate medieval but really enjoyed that vid-the rules seem to make it fair and fun!
Thanks Very much 😁
Where did you get the houses? I think they’ll look great for oathmark
The Two big ones in the middle are from Printable Scenery and the L shaped one I found for free on Cults. The others are a mix of MDF Sarissa and tabletop workshop kits 👍
Are the roads glued to the mat or so you sprinkle on loose dirt to make the roads?
It's an earth scatter that I make, tamped down to form the layout I need 👍
I enjoyed that, chaps, unlucky end for Robin but the gamble could have won the game if it had gone differently!
Yeah, I think Raymond has been given a scar he won't forget (or Robin) 😅
Ok, I've watched a lot of 7thSon bat-reps now, and its time we all contributed to a fund to get Robyn some new dice - these blue monstrosities need to be retired. They never fail to bite him in the a**.
😅 he'll never let those dice go. I have to admit, I do wait in anticipation of the moment in game they tend to go wrong
I hate to be pedantic but you keep saying RETOIN instead of RETINUE.
Yeah, I know 😁
You two are brilliant, the rules are boring.
No problem, won't be for everyone, but thanks for taking the time to comment 👍
Cry Havoc vibes
I need to look into Cry Havoc 👍
