Hello Draisine 160, I just watched your video because you left me a message on mine. The comparison of the X3800 Artrain and Del Prado clearly favors the Artrain when it comes to engraving. But, because there is a but, the huge wheels and the height on the rail are two major faults for me and therefore I much prefer the Del Prado on a Tomytec chassis. The same faults existed in the realization of the Parisian store Transmondia that I refused to buy at the time of its release. The engraving of the Del Prado is heavy, we agree, but at a distance of 1 meter it is the general aspect that counts and here it is in favor of this one. Alain
Thank you for the reply Alain. I agree that the Del Prado models are good and are priced very well. I have had many of them over the years but only have one now. I am interested to see what the new models promised by Trains 160 will be like when they get released.
i cant believe that a more established manufacturer hasnt made this in n yet given that its such an iconic autorail!
Tim's Train Videos it may be that the Del Prado model has killed the market. Given the lower price and ready availability it has saturated the market.
