I'm not convinced that Catholic voters are "Catholic voters". A significant number of Catholics who vote Democrat are likely Hispanic. They are more likely to vote Democrat simply because traditionally that's how most Hispanics vote. Trump received a historic amount of the Hispanic vote (Harris 53%/Trump 47%) likely due to economics. The same is likely true for Italian American, Irish American and French-Canadian American (like me) voters. While the pro-Life issue likely ranks high with many Catholic voters, it does not seem this is a deal breaker for most Catholics.
You make some good points, but I don't think it's a coincidence that historic numbers of Catholics AND Hispanics voted for Trump, and I am sure a lot of them are both. Do I think that every Hispanic that voted for Trump was Catholic and voted for him based on their Catholic faith? Of course not, but I am saying that based on the trends of Catholics leaving the Democratic party, that 55% of Hispanics are Catholic, and that Trump got a historic number of Hispanic voters this year, it isn't out of the realm of reasonable to assume that Catholics had a big hand in Trump's victory. But you did bring up some great points! Thanks for commenting!
Great video! I was actually about to request you make a video on election! Also, curiously what is your opinion? Which candidate did you prefer?? I obviously can’t vote but I would support Trump largely due to his stance on abortion actually!
@@krystofthepolishguytalksan310 Thank you! I’m a conservative, so lean more towards the republicans (especially because of they are more pro-life). I tried to keep my personal opinion out of the video, but there are so many policies of the democrats that go against the church that voting for Trump is really the one way US Catholics can go in good conscience!
@ pretty much my thoughts. But I also believe obsessively loving a politician (like sone love Trump) isn’t healthy. Trump certainly was a better choice but at the end, he is still only human and not all his policies are great.
@@krystofthepolishguytalksan310 True. But I think we’ve had disingenuous politicians for so long that people are excited to have someone who talks like a normal person and will actually do the things he says he will!
@ also, don’t know if you are ok with that question, but when I lived in America (3 years in Rhode Island and 5 in Vermont), I learned about Christian division between Catholics and Evangelicals who are prominent in the South. What’s it’s like to a Catholic in the Bible Belt?
IMO, Harris conflicts with Catholic values is more obvious and on-the-surface ways, but Trump conflicts with Christian values in deeper ways. As far as this goes, this is a well thought out and informed analysis, but it stops short. Kamala Harris was unwisely acerbic at that rally, but it is not clear if she could hear what the protestors were saying. (PS I am Christian but not Roman Catholic.)
I respect your opinion, but I’d have to disagree. I look at policies, not personality, and policy-wise Trump is the only choice for a Christian. True, but that’s not the only time she insulted Christians, it was just the most recent ones. I’m glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for commenting!
Awesome video! Pretty thorough break down! It also appears that you've upgraded your video and audio quality! Looking and sounding great!
Yes, I've been trying out a few things to improve my content. I'm glad you noticed! Thanks for commenting!
Interesting. I agree with your perception.
@@EudoAtencio I’m glad! There are many ways to look at how Trump won, but I do think Catholics were a big reason. Thanks for commenting!

They should be thankful to God that if they pray outside an abortion clinic they will NOT be arrested by Trump's DOJ!
@@MichaelShafer-td8ew True! And hopefully there are less of those, too!
