I'm a 37 year old who works full time and am currently taking classes at a local community college to learn HVAC. I had a class Wednesday morning right after the election. Know what happened in that class? We all showed up, went over the material we were scheduled to, and then left. Makes me really glad that I'm learning something that will actually be beneficial to the economy and that I'm not paying $100,000+ a year to become a professional victim.

However, if I could have gone back and done it over again; I would have skipped it. College these days is a waste of time with the illusion of information scarcity. I went to community college and got my Associates in 2016. It was about $10k and I'm glad FedEx paid for it all. However, if I could have gone back and done it over again; I would have skipped it.
College these days is a waste of time with the illusion of information scarcity. Unless you are going into Medicine or STEM; avoid it at all costs. Especially if you're looking at a top tier University.
Otherwise you'll just be another statistic working at Starbucks with $100,000 in debt.
