- Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia was the son of a family that had played a very important part in the history of the Sikh state founded by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia was undoubtedly one of the most remarkable pioneers who led India, especially Punjab out of the darkness of ignorance to the enlightenment of modernity.

Saba, you did a wonderful job in introducing Dyal Singh. Your research, style of delivery, voice, passion brought tears in my eyes. I was born and raised in Lahore. My first real introduction to Dyal Singh was when I was looking for a book and did not find any where in Lahore. Ultimately, I found 5 copies of that particular book. At that day my biases against Dyal Singh were shattered to pieces. Please also share with your audience your educational and professional background.

A well researched documentary Saba but one thing I would say you should have made this documentary in DYal singh college and trust library not in Lawrence garden. This would have taken us more close to the son of lahore

The Tribune was shifted to India, however, it never printed any hateful comments against Pakistan after 1947. Thanks for presenting tribute to Sardar Diyal Singh. Please also do some presentation for Ganga Ram as well as for the Faqir Family of Lahore. Thanks. You speaks beautiful Punjabi. I am proud someone still holding the flag of Punjabi in Lahore where modern Lahorites and fashionable women-a product of angreezi schools only speaks keech-kachorra English and Urdu mixed together in some funny unrecognised accent. Punjabi parents teach Urdu to their children in some whimsical accent. Only Sikhs are proud Punjabi speakers-yes, we should grudgingly acknowledge it.

HE WAS FOUNDER OF Daily Newspaper ,” The Tribune “.
It was published from LAHORE upto 15 August 1947. After Partition the Newspaper started publishing from AMBALA Cantt . Upto 1966 Ambala was in Punjab. Then Newspaper shifted to CHANDIGARH and it’s still published from Chandigarh. Love ❤️ The Tribune from CANADA 🇨🇦
