18 ,19, or 20 inch tyres makes a hugh difference innconsumption! What was the size of the tyres on your EX30?!

EX30’s 0.28 drag coefficient is among the worst of new EVs. Results are not suprising at all.
Best aerodynamics SUV crossovers such as Tesla Model Y and Skoda Enyaq Coupe have drag coefficient of 0.23. Drag multiplier of EX30 is 21% higher than them.
Most aero efficient EV sedans have drag coefficient of 0.20. EX30 is 40% above that. No wonder the highway range suffers so much.

I was interested about EX30, but I wanted something with over 500km WLTP range. WLTP is based on mixed consumption. EX30 is a bit below that. But it also has poor aerodynamics, so highway range is worse in comparison with similar WLTP range EVs.
It’s a shame. Car looks very nice otherwise. But I don’t want a car that can’t reach 300km at 120km/h highway speed.
And this isn’t a fluke. Other reviewers have reached identical results in highway speeds :(

    Good car!
If i'm not mistaken, it has better range than the C40. Right ?

About the same according to my tests, but the C40 has a bigger battery.

Which is perfect because the look and feel of the EX30 is much better from my point of view

Great test. Found the same on test drive here in the UK some months ago. Winter temperatures but general driving (mix of urban and freeway) the calculated efficiency and maximum range was a maximum of just 170 miles. Against a WLTP range of 295 miles. A huge discrepancy. Not an efficient EV! Put that together with glitchy software, cramped rear, no HUD or internal sunblind for the pano roof which it’s sister car Smart #1 has, this car fell of our list as a next EV. It has potential though. Reminded us of our old BMW i3.
