My maternal grandparents were married in 1905. Their parents experienced the Civil War. My mother had 14 siblings. Yes, Grandma and Grandpa raised 15 kids thru WWI, the Great Depression, and WWII. They were fantastic grandparents!

Went to the ATM... ATM is closed. Went to another ATM and my debit card was declined. The bank put a hold on my card saying that suspected fraudulent activity. I didn't have access to my bank account or cash. Prepare. Prepare. I have prepared and listened. Thank goodness for my stash. This was an awful feeling for the initial moment. Scarey. But I advise get some cash on hand.
My small local bank does that once in awhile. Last time it happened, my husband was in Georgia. "Oh, next time tell us where he'll be and for how long so we can put a note in the system." Having already tried to explain MULTIPLE TIMES that he's an OTR trucker, I said, "Ma'am, the only reason I even know where he is right now is because he's having issues. And I'm his WIFE." She had no explanation why it does this sporadically even though he's all over the country all the time. Ugh.
@@katie7748I was a sales rep and traveled the entire lower 48 10 years ago. My bank would do the same thing to me constantly. I tried explaining I traveled all the time but inevitability they’d do it again a couple months later.
Same thing happened to me on Friday, they couldn’t tell me why they determined my card to have fraudulent activity and having issues with the chip reader every since.
We had the Debit card frozen also. Calling them helped.
@@katie7748My hubby is a truck driver also and we had that happen when we used a credit union. Used his card in Virginia, then used it in NJ the same day, it was frozen for fraudulent activity. We changed and went to a larger bank and he hasn’t had any issues since then.
Last Thursday we bought 18 lbs of jalapenos to make Cowboy Candy for coworkers. Then we were gifted 15 lbs of onions, 27 bundles of green onions, 20 lbs of jalapenos and 15 lbs of tomatoes. We cleaned chopped, froze canned made spaghetti sauce and then also made the 42 half pints of cowboy candy.... oh and in the mix of all that my sister decided to buy 350 lbs of apples to make applesauce for the entire family. We have been busy and will keep going as long as we can.

Just baked that Dutch oven bread with some rosemary added in!! When I took the lid off after the first 30min, I drizzled a little olive oil on top, let it run down the sides of the loaf a little bit, turned my oven down to 420, did another 7 minutes and it was a little golden, real tasty, perfect!! That was such an easy video to follow!! Thank you!!
It's also fantastic with a generous handful of cheddar cheese, or cheese of your choice, kneaded in!

Way to go! Isn't it great? It's so easy. Strawberry jam is even easier-- since it's waterbath instead of pressure canning, it's so fast! Once you start making jam you'll want to make jam from every fruit you see on sale (at least I did, lol). Welcome to the canning club!

I turn to your videos to help push me. Yet today I just can't. 2018 I suffered a double stroke and I pushed my rehabilitation for 5 years but still sit in a wheelchair with left side paralysis but focus on the positive however for the past 2 weeks I've been ill and it has become increasingly worse as I lost most use of my right leg and am unsure why but today has been rough. Thank you for your videos to push my mind to continue to be positive ♥

Patara, I am doing 3 miles a day right now. Why this is so special is that i was suffering congestive Heart failure just months ago. Had an MRI today and the results show no abnormalities. IMy heart had been attacked by a virus and after hearing what you said about your hubby, it was similar. The cardiologist is stumped to explain it. LOL

The last few days i am feeling like im in fight,flight, AND freeze. Listening for motivation on that today. Running out of$ to prep and that worries me. I have 4 kids and a homestead. I know of 3 kids , already, that are homeless. Here we go.... pray for us. I may end up in over my head with mouths to feed. I don't know what to do anymore.

I did my first 5K in 2015 right after I finished 33 Rounds of radiation for breast cancer. It was a hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it was also the most rewarding. I can’t wait for cooler weather so I can add an afternoon walk. I did a little one today with a sun umbrella. It wasn’t that bad. I hate hot weather a lot. Fortunately it’s is cooler in the early morning but I don’t get a very good walk-in anymore because I walk with my husband now that he is retired. I need a second walk alone to sort my thoughts and pray .

I was never great at committing to a schedule to work out, but I've walked at least a mile daily since March. I really miss if I don't go. It's ingrained now and I feel so much healthier.

Same with Sons of Liberty 1773. He is the one that brought the lawsuit here in MI about 2020. YT has been shadow banning him since. Patriot big time. Replaced one toilet, replaced the kitchen faucet, fixing the flushing handle of the other toilet. Now we have to fix the old woodstove chimney pipe, stove is long gone, as it's leaking!! Raining last few days and more tomorrow. Praying the rain stops for a week or 2. Trying to get "ready" for stuff hitting the fan. Thanks for sharing. God bless and protect.

FEMA and FCC announced that they will be doing emergency broadcasting testing on Oct. 4 or Oct. 11 for 30 minutes beginning at 2:20 est. Apparently this has some folks wondering why for 30 minutes. You can google it and get the info. I am not sure this is important, but the question rises , why now? What's going on?
People may not hear it the first few times. Sounds like they are just going to repeat it several times, so people can't say they didn't hear it and they can say they tried several times.

The Common Sense Show is good to watch for keeping up with the caos out there.
Supposedly all devices will be "turned on" by whatever system they have....that's freaky. Makes me think the devices can also be turned off. I'll be removing my batteries, unplugging radios ect. Put the cell phone and any such devices in your unplugged microwave for protection.
Between Florida the past couple of years, the assorted tornados, assorted floods, assorted wild fires, and the fire on Maui - "They" have come to conclude that getting emergency information out has been a problem. Actually, it has been identified as a problem for a while but the proof in the pudding just keeps building up.
Another question...why not now...especially since this is National Preparedness Month.
First thing I thought of after the kitty short was “ Cat On A Hot Tin Roof” movie title. Lol

Patara maybe it is just me , but I watched a video from Jeremiah babe and it was the toughest video I have ever watched. I am just about as prepared as I can be. We have cattle, I have chickens, I have mature fruit trees. I have gardens. We live in a tiny community with a bridge on each end, and we could isolate ourselves very quickly. Oh and of course we have food. We were raised to be prepared. However I felt like everything we have done is a bandaid. I will keep adding to what I already have, but I felt defeated. 😒 I know we can't quit and usually things like that propel me forward. Maybe it was a bad day.

I've listened to the JB interview with Bill Holler. I will be listening to it again. I'm in Central IN. I was in the local Aldi this morning and many supplies were really low. While they were stocking some things it didn't look like they had a lot to put on the shelves. They had plenty of snacky type stuff but not so much of the basic food supplies. I was able to get the few items I had on my list. I spent $24 so you know I didn't have a big list.
Thank you for reminding us to keep prepping. Just got back from the grocery store. Found bacon and sirloin tip roast on sale, bought several to put in the freezer. Got several cans of beans for chili this coming winter. I trust and enjoy watching your videos. ❤

The Jeremiah Babe channel interview she mentions is an excellent interview. Just think the only thing the government is not currently trying to prevent us from doing is buying gold and silver, Personally think this allowance is the government's way of having an additional physical gold and silver reserve they can legally claim if we are forced into a gold or silver backed currency. They may make you turn it over and control the redemption price just like they did years ago.

Just finished another batch of Muscadine jelly from grapes friends let us go pick a few weeks ago. Playing around with Pomona pectin so I can use less sugar and it’s made from actual citrus.
