- Lobby group AfriForum failed in its bid to have the struggle song “Kill the boer” declared as hate speech.
The Equality Court ruled in the favour of the EFF and its leadership, and dismissed the matter with costs. The lobby group had previously argued that the singing of the song incites violence and promotes farm killings.
To unpack this further, we are joined by Apartheid activist, Trevor Ngwane, Azanian People's Organisation's Nelvis Qekema, and AfriForum Head of Policy and Action Ernst Roets.

Ernst was the only person in the studio that actually made a rational and balanced argument. The other two gentlemen hopelessly kept sidetracking to other completely unrelated distractions which actually had nothing to do with the court case at hand. Imagine Afriforum and their members singing songs about murdering of black groups and then claiming 'culture' or 'metaphor'. It is absurd!

What makes me somewhat positive is that today there are more and more blacks to talk for the rights of whites (and others) as there are whites who engages in the rights of blacks and other people. I would say this wasn't common some 20 years ago. The golden rule applies not only to the individual, but all groups. That song is not EFF song was a struggle song.It has got nothing todo with the killing of the Farmers. Every body ,black and white are getting killed in SouthAfrica without that song. That song is the song for more demanding Our Rights of the land(.struggle song is that Song).Was sung during the time of struggle.It has got something( with the System.)To sit there in that Studio discussing about that song, l find it is just being stubborn. go give your proof of ownership of your land that was stolen to the land claims court. If you do not have proof, please stop complaining and stop trying to steal land that was never yours to begin with. Almost all land owned today was bartered for or bought. The land claims court have dealt with many other cases and claimants were compensated. There is a system in place for the real people that were dispossessed, use the system if you really have a claim. If you really want to sing about killing other people, stop using excuses to show your hatred and just confess that you are an evil person with no moral values.
If this is a strugle song and thy are allowed to sing it, then it would not be wrong to sing a song '' One Bullet-One Black'' it will be our strugle song of ''Blood River'' !!!!
