Check out my full video on streaming here ua-cam.com/video/tHd3bRIl80E/v-deo.html
Though it may be convenient to use streaming services because of the amount of availability, I’d rather download to an external and keep the file. Great review.
Old skool DJ here. Vinyl is also HEAVY!!!! I used to lug crates of them around.
I don’t miss those days!! Thanks for watching
If you have vinyl you can always convert them to mp3 and dj with them which I sometimes do or you can rip CD'S
It’s just a time thing! Takes a long time if you have a big collection
Set up is looking fresh in the background 🔥🔥 Zip DJ for me every time 🙌🏼
Haha thank you mate, credit goes to my mate for letting me use his studio 😂
can you download them onto a usb and use them on cdj’s?
Rule of thumb…if you download the track onto your laptop- you can do what you want with it!
thank you :)
DJs often say that they buy music on itunes. But as far as I know you cant export songs from there. Do you know a tutorial, which shows that?
I use to DJ years ago. I had tons of CDs and Hard drives with music. Haven’t touched it in over 10years. Nowadays with physical media dying and streaming taking over , I’ve wondered how modern DJs are actually getting music. I’d expect Customers to expect DJs to just have anything available (because they can stream anything) . 🤔
I mean the amount of Spotify tracks people shove in my face these days is unbelievable but we roll with it. It’s impossible to have everything but as long as you capture the main things people want then it’s all good! Thank you for watching
Another great video. Good content.
Thank you for watching
New to digital djing ,, getting a pioneer rx3 soon.
I’ve got so far over a 100 tunes I’ve found on UA-cam that I want , mainly funk , house and jazz etc…
Where’s the best place to go and get them , preferably free as well…..
Any help would be appreciated…..
The platforms that I mention in this video might be a good place to have a look and see if they have the tracks. Whilst some music is available free…in most cases you should be supporting the industry and paying for music (just my opinion). Happy spinning!
Does crate connect have a old school freestyle section ( Stevie b, George Lamond, Noel, Coro, Cynthia, ect)
No…most pools don’t have a good selection of throwback music due to label restrictions. What you are after is really specialist so you are better off buying individual tracks
@KarlThomas, what do you think about bandcamp?
Love it…in fact I think I mention it here in this video!
Best pool for spanish latin tech house? cheers bro
Anything electronic I would say Zip DJ however that is pretty niche so you might be better off with an online store like beatport
