I hung out with you and Matt at a Killswitch/machine head show in Toledo ages ago. We sat at the bar and had some laughs. You guys were really cool to us and didn't rockstar us. Then we saw you guys in Cleveland like 2 weeks later. Hell of a show.
A lot of videos like this don't show the whole process of setting up all the gear, it's really good watching it in real time with no cuts, thanks on that!
I can not wait to hear the new rig live and see all the chimaira boys again! Crazy that's it's been over a year since the reunion shows already! Hopefully the chimaira train will keep running!
Ha! That's funny man because I watched your video as soon as it appeared and thought the tones you were getting were superior to mine, and I was definitely envious! Matt, the other guitarist in Chimaira is still using a 6505+ thru a Mesa at rehearsals this week, and I can definitely hear the difference. His tone sounds deeper, more driven, and real, in comparison to my digital representation. So in my opinion, there's simply no substitution for the real thing. However, the convenience of a smaller modeler based rig still seems worth it, and I'm looking forward to continue experimenting and improving my tone day by day. There's certainly a lot of options with this thing, and I'll get it figured out! Anyway, I appreciate you checking out the vid! I think we may be among the first TMP pioneers in the world of live metal! Cheers Ola! 🎸
Love this setup Rob. Everything's so simple and easy for you to play live. I can't wait to hear that Jackson being played live. So I'm hoping get a good shot of you all here on youtube.
That section from last night’s set where you hit the whammy downward and the strings turned to mud… so sick. Never seen the band before but I loved every moment. POWER TRIP!
I absolutely love this. unfortunately not able to attend so this is the next best thing. being able to experience it through other group members even members of the band is a great experience. Much love and respect to everyone sharing. I very grateful for this group. I wish nothing but the best for people going. Stay safe and have a great time. I'm really looking forward to see all the pictures and videos people share. Stay metal 🤘✊🤘
Are you going to mic up the Peavy or go straight to foh from the tone master? By the way, my son asked you to say happy Father's Day to me a few weeks ago. That was one of the greatest gifts I've ever gotten from anybody. Thank you for being down to earth. It makes me respect you that much more. Thank you. 🤘🏽
Hey I remember your son asking me that! Cheers man! 🤘 I'm set up for both scenarios. The cab will definitely be mic'd, and I'll let our sound engineer decide if he'd also like to take a direct line to FOH.
@@RobArnoldWorld heck yeah. I wish I could see you guys live. I tried in 07 but the tickets were sold out. Long story short, I met my wife a week before that show and asked her out to dinner. Hopefully a live video coming?! 🤘😜
A few questions if you have time to answer...1. Did you always use that pedalboard? 2. What gage strings? 3. US tour? Thank you
1) This pedal board setup is completely new for me! Just assembled it within the past few months.
2) I use 11-52 on all my guitars, regardless of tuning.
3) You never know!
I’m stage left in my band too
OH FUCK YEAH!
Any updates on Andy? Any chance he’ll be joining you guys? If not, how’s he doing? I hope he’s improving.
Cheers from Denver, brother!

Cheers to Denver! 🤘
Unfortunately, no new news on Andols.
Fun

So happy you're coming to the festival! You guys are the top Bill for me! Is there anyway I can get you guys to sign a guitar?
If you run into me, and you're holding your guitar, I'll be happy to sign it! But if it were me, I wouldn't want to carry around a guitar all day based on chance. Plus, who knows if they'd let you past the entrance gate with one.
i dont know anything about guitars but this was cool to watch. also..... idk why i always thought you had full sleeves. ha
Haha nice! And I'd probably have sleeves if I wasn't deathly afraid of needles!
It takes ALOT of volume to blown out the iPhone’s mics nowadays. Usually it just took much bass that does it and it takes tons now.
