I had a set of situations with Sam after break up. Whenever I tried to talk he was in some kind of activity like guitar playing, but he occasionally showed up on my screen a lot of times. Once I fished and he got close by, but stopped and started playing video game. When I tried to talk he's just «I'm busy come later». It's all just a coincidence but damn a good one

@@AdSoyad-rp1vm hahaha actually I broke up with him because he disappointed me. Compared to Alex, for example, his cutscenes and character overall are boring, except for 10-heart ofc. That one I remembered good.
But I ended up marrying Seb and it's the only reason I got over two hearts with Maru. She happened to be at the same house lol. Maru's even more dull than Sam, that one at least has something to offer.

Did you see her picture when you gave it to her, she had tears in her eyes. Then tried to play it off in the second message.
The really sad thing about it is that you could see the shock and tears in her eyes just before she says that. She pretends to have been wanting to break up with you first so she can play off being “cool” and not be the loser who got dumped. You spent all this time bonding with her to help her lose that bitchy persona and open up to be kinder to others, and she goes right back to the way she was before after you throw that whole relationship away. It’s heartbreaking. Haley is my least favorite bachelorette but I can admit that she isn’t a bad person and she (like the others) didn’t deserve to get their hearts stomped on.
Abigail started to get more agitated, leave home and argue with her parents more.
Vincent hates you because Sam was now barely holding himself together with the loss of his best friend and you.
Sebastian now locks himself in his room, barely talks to Robin and moves out of the town with no hesitation.
Maru constantly doubts herself and Demetrius can barely get a word out of her.
Penny can hardly keep herself together in front of Jas and Vincent. Gunther has noticed her getting thinner.
Willy notice that Elliot hasn't been coming out of his shack anymore, sad piano music constantly plays.
Gus and Pam have noticed Shane get back to his drinking problem, drinking more than he ever did before.
Harvey has been throwing himself into work and never leaving his clinic. Maru never sees him unless it's the start of work.
Alex acts more like a jerk to everyone. He has outbursts of anger every once in a while.
Haley puts more make up on her face to hide her dark bags and pale complexion.

I gotta give some love to Elliot. Dude left his hometown and family because he wanted better things (basically a gender-swapped Belle). And he can’t go on his book tour unless you marry him. He sends letters every day saying how much he misses you and wishes you see the world with him.
I honestly wish Elliot’s story was more like Cliff from Harvest Moon: Mineral Town. It really felt like my relationships affected the town.

Everybody is upset about Shane. I mean, I’m absolutely destroyed but I can FEEL the deepest feeling of misery in Alex. He confided so much about himself to someone he loved, and let his jackass persona falter, and then he has to put it right back on when he sees the bouquet. I bet you that night he cried for HOURS.
I agree 100%. Most people just see him as an arrogant jock but he's actually a very caring guy (I mean think about the Beach scene for example ??). He acted prideful here due to being really hurt and not wanting to show that.

on one hand, you monster, but on the other hand, this is genuinely a really interesting look into some of these characters' psyches?
abigail tries to rationalize her pain, harvey's dorkish tendencies prevent him from hiding any of how hurt he is, alex leans back into his prideful persona when faced with a situation he might not be emotionally capable of handling otherwise, sam is unusually subdued beyond the initial shock (is he doubting himself, or is this perhaps a behavior he learned from having to deal with a much younger little brother?), emily is as genuine in her emotions as she always is, leah almost reads as jaded, and shane, neurologically wired as he is, subtly berates himself for not expecting disappointment and is probably entering another depressive spiral, which is just. really fuckin sad, man.
penny tries to be kind even when she's been hurt, which isn't anything new character-wise, but like, can someone give this girl a break? interestingly, maru accuses you at first of not thinking she was good enough, which makes wonder if her family's dysfunctional dynamic has impacted her in ways that aren't readily apparent. haley bites back when upset, elliott retreats into the emotional distance of formality, and sebastian doesn't even seem comfortable enough with the _idea_ of arguing to do anything but quietly resign himself to being hurt, which. intriguing from a character perspective, but _oof._
To me the saddest one had to be Emily, she didn’t say nothing about friendship or seeing around or anything to cope, she straight up said she thought that they had something special and tears up and that’s it, Poor Emily

When I heard the music at the beginning I felt really alone and a bit sad. Took me a moment to realise that is was because it was the flower dance song and I was having vietnam flashbacks of standing in the corner.

When Maru said "Not good enough for you?" This cut so deep. I have a six year save file and she was my first, we adopted 2 kids. I have never wanted to break up with or divorce her because she's a guaranteed favorite of mine, but this really hurt.. Maru grew up a straight A student, and is the favorite to Demetrius. As a burnout gifted, it hurt when she said "not good enough for you", it hurt the most. Being told you're the best and greatest all your life can be shattered by one thing, this is an example. And that Frustration in her text of her not understanding how she is wrong, only to realize she cant do anything about it with a "fine..", really brings it together. CA, you had to make this one hurt huh?

I'm married to Harvey and he's sweet, seeing his reaction here made me feel bad because the fact that he reacts so viscerally to the pain and shock of the breakup... He's one of the most open villagers in my opinion, he really shows everything he feels (involuntarily most of the time). You can see that the emotional sucker punch the farmer just dealt him is so devastating that its repercussions are physical.
Poor Alex. The "I'm not begging" and unhappy expression seems like basic manly-man pride at first, but then you understand that it's just the last thing he can hold onto. He doesn't know how to fix this so he can only pull up his walls again. That evening he probably vowed to never be vulnerable again after drying his tears.
As for Shane... It's the "gulp" that does it for me. The shock so great that it makes his throat convulse. But then he falls back onto good old self-hatred and self-blame, pretends it was always going to happen because he always knew he was an unlovable person, he just forgot during the time he spent with the person he loved.
(But the one thing that I have trouble with for Shane is that he's so reliant on the farmer to get better with his substance abuse... In real life, you can't expect another person to be your savior. It's not fair to either them or you. That's why I can't date him, it feels like getting pulled into something dangerous.)

@@suburbanorca My farm was like that for the first few save files....I was so bad at organizing stuff😂😂😅. But after looking at other players save files....I finally learned how to organize the farm properly.
Same my guy there were trees everywhere and I didn't wanna clean up so after grinding in the mines forever I just blew everything the fuck up with mega bombs
I literally just fixed mine. Its not great but the animals arent in front of my house now and my crops arent stuck between where i planted the fruit trees, the house and bat cave.

All the characters have such good, deep back stories... I always have such a hard time choosing which one to marry!
I married Elliott because he wrote me a whole ass book AND writes me poetry on a very consistent basis. Once he moved in with me he makes me coffee and crab cakes and actually does work on the farm. Complete dream man.

God I remember simping soooo hard for Alex my first time playing lmao. I didn’t know how the relationships worked back then so when he didn’t like the wild horse radish I gave him I thought it was because my character was a boy so I deleted my save and made a new character, this time a girl. It of course didn’t make him like me more but i was new and stupid 😔

As someone who adores sebastian, Shane, alex, and abigail with all her heart, I want to punch a wall. Sebastian just seems so empty. Alex confided so much in you, letting his jackass persona fall around you, and it comes right back once he sees the bouquet.. Shane literally started drinking again, PLUS YOU WOKE UP ABIGAIL
This was so sad wtf. My favorite has always been Harvey and seeing how he got so upset he literally had a physical reaction was so sad… He’s so loyal and dedicated to the farmer bruh

I love how direct Leah is one of the main reasons shes my favorite and I almost always marry her in any play through, she seems to be self reflective and kind, I love her character.
