I've loved Relient K and have been listening to them since 2003ish. I finally got to see them back in 2017.
Anyways, I wanted to do this song off of their 2004 album, Mmhmm. I may end up doing the rest of them! I just wanted to break up my type of content a little bit and get back to my drum cover roots.
It's been 8 years (almost) since I've done a drum cover. Back in 2009 is when I had started doing a bunch of covers under a different channel.

If it's been 8 years, what got you back into it?
That's a good question! I think to help differentiate some of the videos I put out.
Compared to drum videos where I talk, these take a lot less time overall to film and edit.
I had been thinking about it for a bit and my wife helped me decide last minute too with this cover vs another video idea I had going over drum heads lol
@@AttunedMusician Well, that's a good idea to diversify content, and viewers do like covers--not to mention, we as drummers like to play them. I hear it doesn't work so well with monetization 😂🙄 but it gets you out there to more viewers.
