Yeah it is better than the 12 cuz the 12’s core magnets are too long they catch sometimes and I really like the idea of putting the magnets on the edge.
Gan 14 will have corner-core magnets, edge-core magnets, center-core magnets, edge-corner magnets, edge-center magnets, and corner-center magnets. And also core-core magnets?
If jperm watched this we would say "maybe it's fixed". I'm concluding that because the corner to edge magnets seem to be shorter, or what he wanted. Really really excited to maybe get one soon.
yeah, the price just doesn't seem worth it for me. I'm chillin with my 11 m pro, and now that the xman v3 is only $33 for corner to core magnets, I just don't want to pay for gan cubes anymore
@@crayonstik9919 the gan 11m pro is quite good so even if you don’t want to pay for the expensive gans the 11m pro is a solid cube… still the gan12 is SUPER expensive though

Gan needs to understand the consumer can't keep paying increased prices. Apple, although a tired comparison, seems to be a relevant one here. The new iphones introduce significant new hardware (48mp camera, new screen etc), but they remain the same prices as last year. I honestly love gan and have collected every single one of their cubes since the Gan III, but I just can't afford to keep paying increased prices every year for a cube with minor tweaks. If we as a community keep buying these puzzles at these crazy prices, Gan will just keep increasing them because that is how the market works. Alas, maybe I will pick this up on sale in a year.
It is not that much... Like paying for just rubicks cube 85 is a lot, but considering its the best cube in the world than its quite cheap compering it to diferent sports, like imagine you want to buy the best hockey stick in the world... that would be a lot more money.

When you have cubes releasing at HALF the price but still have maglev, corner core magnets, and great performance, I just can’t get behind calling this the best cube, at least not objectively. The markup on Gan’s cubes must be insane, and it’s one I won’t buy into because at this rate the next Gan cube will cross the 100$ threshold. Crazy

Theory:The magnets inside the 13's edges actually REPEL the core, because it it were the opposite, there would be 8 "solved" positions, making +2's more likely and the cube worse for cubehead. If they repelled the core magnets(there are only magnets in the corner slots) they would help push the cube in the right direction.
How do you guys remove cube logos? For example the logo of the tornado v3 or the gan 13 maglev uv? I wanna use it for blindfolded but I‘m not allowed a Logo

welp i have a gan 356 R S and can in no way shape or form afford this so this does nothing for me but i like watching people turn cubes it is a little bit soothing for me idk why tho
I don't really like the adjustment system. Needing a tool to adjust is a flaw in its design in my opinion while it is also too fidget-y. Will hold onto my Gan 11 until the Gan 14 comes out. :)
Damian and Rowe basically summed it up: We like the cube, but we don't like its price. And these are EARNING ADULTS, mind you. If you're still depending on your parents to buy them, they have the right to say Yes or No.

Gan, like Apple, has just become synonymous with a company that will not stop producing more and more expensive products, all for little to no necessary change. I’m obviously not saying the Gan 13 is a bad cube, but nobody should be spending 84 dollars for a 3x3, unless you are a top speedcuber or serious collector.
hey,, my gan 13 have a problem so i want to tell you about that, my gan13 adjustment system have a issue where they printed the number for the spring compression wrongly, my cube is supposed to being set to setting 2 but infact in the yellow and blue side its actually being set to 5 but visually its 2, it can lead to some issue with feeling ,so if you saw this comment you can check yours by adjusting the spring compression and if you hear the hard click then thats sets to setting 1.(i know there is alot of grammar mistake because it is midnight during my country so sry for that)

From my experience the 13 has better auto align, is smoother faster , it’s just so good love it more then any cube in the world rn.
