aint no way people are more creative than tymon. my guy can literally plan a pseudo xxxcross in 12 seconds of inspection and execute it flawlessly while maintaining 12 tps
Not sure why you would put Xuanyi'a TPS faster than Yiheng... I would have put Yiheng at really high TPS and Xuanyi very low, pretty much the exact opposite.
@@antoineccantin I thought it meant they dont depend on TPS as much because they have more efficient solutions and typically use less ergonomic solutions. Like ruihang for example doesnt do f moves hardly in f2l or maybe he is more now.
@@elliottwilliamson2560 so in this case a high value on the graph high means he does more awkward moves and so has low TPS, and therefore depends more on TPS because it's already slow and if it was slower than his solves would be much worse compared to someone who has high TPS which would somehow maybe be less affected by having lower TPS? This doesn't really make sense to me. I think Matty just hasn't seen many of Xuanyi'a solves, so didn't quite know what to answer so went with a default Chinese kid answer haha
Thanks for making tutorials by pro cubers this is really interesting and helps many people like me and other advanced cubers as there are basically NO tutorials for people who are sub 7 on 3x3
Yes, but this is also exactly what we thought about Leo borromeo. It’s very possible when he hits puberty he will stop being interested in cubing like Leo.
I hope by 2040 we actually time cube solves... PURELY. As in no stack mat timer just a smart cube that starts at first turn then ends at last turn. I know it's miniscule but how many world records by 0.1 have we had that weren't counted because they were relaxed with the timer. As you said being nervous in front of a crowd can lead to hands locking up and being relaxed is what matters. I know first hand that hitting the timer is slightly stressful after a smooth solve lol.
Yo cubicle, I was wondering why there there was a small magnet in the inside of my gan 13 maglev, I checked all the core pieces and none of the magnets were missing and I never opened up an individual piece for the interior magnet to fall out
I think Tymon has been upping his tps more but maybe being so creative sometimes holds the tps in check. Also how far into the solves they can predict has an effect but that's not really creativity more visualisation, pattern recognition - brain power! I'm off the chart here 🙃with low tps of around 2.8, high move count around 67, Sub zero creativity and around 23 second average times. We need a chart for all us mortals down here 🙂
why is yiheng so low? the stats on speedcubedb show that his average movecount is 56 while tymon's is 53. Tymon also uses a lot of ZB and Yiheng doesn't yet his movecount is relatively low. He also sets up a lot of 3 movers and solves F2L pairs such that the next pair is easy to solve. His creativity should be high and so should his TPS. There's solves where he does 67 moves but with 13+ tps so he has some variation
i would agree with this except i would put tymon at ltierally the maximum creativity, he has some insane xx and xxx cross solutions that make zero sense, he pioneered a completely unique way of doing f2l and he has the ll knowledge to do so many things insanely fast
I love future predictions I can see 3x3 going down to averaging sub 4 before 2030! And someone is getting a sub 2 in the next 15 years for sure. That’s just 27 moves at 13.6 tps Yuahang Du could have got that if he had turned like Ruhang
I have a video/experiment idea, but i'm not sure who would be able to pull it off. I'm convinced you could teach a crow(or other inteligent animal known for problem solving skills) to give instructions to a blindfolded cubesolver. Say by teaching it to peck on pieces and then where they go. With the beginnermethod it wouldnt be too hard to execute if you can get the animal to recognize and signal the correct patterns to the solver. Any thoughts?
Matty casually calling me basic 😭😭😭

Well, he doesn't have any Belgian national records, now does he?

No way it’s eat ham yay
Yea true

Tymon should be even more higher on the creativity axis
Matty is so nonchalantly charismatic lol

yeah i agree they could've list him higher and more like in the middle in between low and high tps
true
Matty just has personal issue for him
Real
Exactly! If Tymon has lower tps and less creativity than Matty, how has he made so many sub 4 averages?
tymon deserves to be the highest on creativity
Personally I’m putting Tymon at top creativity with his F2L
Matty the goat for real.
when i saw the title i thought he would plan for, like, world domination
This is such a cool thought project! Mattys so cool
I feel like I would place Tymon a little bit higher on a graph, because of his insane pseudoslotting stuff in his solves.

absolutely agree here
If you look at his 3.54 single, tps honestly wasn't that quick (for a cuber of his level)
Im confused if Matty is ranking ranking tps dependence or just tps.
@@elliottwilliamson2560 I feel like it's the same? Xuanyi doesn't have fast TPS and also doesn't depend on TPS to get good solves

There is no way 3.35 ao5 is possible. Maybe on keyboard, but you gotta add like 0.3 for stackmat and make it 3.65.
