@@lavacake1212 You can tell that Omori is meant to be a younger version of Sunny, I'm presuming it was him before or not long after the accident with Mari. Not the same age as Sunny. Also, look at their heights, if Omori is meant to be a different version of Sunny, why is he shorter? It's because he's a 'copy' (sorta) of his younger self.
A lot of things stick with these characters you call imagination. And this is coming from someone who copes the same way as Sunny.
@@glitchyunknown5259 i think "persona" is the word you're looking for (like an avatar, the personification of a person's ideal view of himself. can also be a fake personality somebody uses in order to make people believe they're one thing when in reality they're another [in this last example a façade])

@@saymybyshy I don't think blackspace would be gone, as it didn't have a 'purpose'. It existed because everything Sunny wanted to forget was shoved down there, the Truth just being one of them. We can see that in what seem to be old drawings or things like the Loquacious Cat and the areas behind some of the doors. Even Abbi is down there, a being thought by many to be Sunny's old imaginary friend banished into the Abyss by Omori and thus forgotten about by Sunny. Embarrassing memories or random people/ideas he knew but forgot about would possibly be down there too. I simply think the nature of the Truth distorted blackspace more than it ever was and made it into the hellscape it was in the game.
In a way, everyone has a 'blackspace' so long as they have stuff they would rather not remember or think about.

it's actually not confirmed if the spaces are destroyed, but is higly possible due to loss of point of having it.

Omori: Goes from manifestation of trauma to British therapist who likes cards.
I like the headcanon that Omori does return but isn't they way he was before, trying to put Sunny down and making him forget the truth. He's never fully gone as the game shows but he just returns and chills out, seeing the world through Sunny's eyes and memories.
And- given that Headspace likely wouldn't exist (It's only purpose for Ormori making it was to distract and hide the Truth from Sunny) he gets bored and lonely, so he'd steal Sunny during his dreams sometimes to hang out.

When. They’re not trying to kill eachother. I mean.
I love the thought of them as just seperate entities like- its so interesting-
I love that in this, it seems omori has reverted to his original purpose that was the whole reason he was created: to comfort sunny. But now that sunny has accepted the truth, is no longer hiding it and allowing himself to be a regular person again, reconnecting with his memories and emotions that comfort that omori serves is a lot healthier so now instead of being the personification of sunny’s self hatred and repression, he’s the personification of sunny’s growth to becoming a better person overall. Omori is no longer the god like entity of sunny’s dreams to distract him and prevent him from ever processing his trauma, but now kinda just like an imaginary friend that just kinda chills out in sunny’s subconscious, occasionally chatting to him to instead of hiding things, remind him of, for example, his birthday.
It’s really just a great representation of how much sunny has grown and developed throughout the game and how he continues to even after the game. How he now accepts everything about him and while its hard he has become a much healthier person seemingly both physically and mentally. I saw another comment point this out but this is also reflected in omori’s design in the comic, with him being as tall and mature looking as sunny, representing the evolution of omori as a coping mechanism for sunny.
Idk i just love this comic and this game i could probably talk about it for hours and if u’ve read this all the way through thank you for tolerating my rant

I don't know why there are so many diplomatic Omori in AUs but this one is by far the most justified. Good job
idk why but this gave me an idea that after the events of good ending omori, omori kinda mellows out/changes and instead of trying to hide the truth from sunny or kill him, he kinda just waits in white space and plays games with sunny when he visits

i really like the idea of omori's purpose becoming a coping mechanism for sunny to talk to and process emotions instead of repressing them. i think it's a really cool concept :)
