- In this video you can practice playing along with the Kerry Polka in D major. As always the tune is played through several times, each time a little faster. Although primarily designed with fiddle playing in mind, these playalongs can be used with any instrument. The fiddlers way is a channel designed to help you learn the sorts of tunes that get played at sessions, and practice building them up to session speed.

Thanks for making this video, this is fun to play along to. Ive always loved this song though its often considered overplayed in sessions. Ive seen it also called Eagan's, and Peg Ryan's. If you are a whistler an A whistle works great for this key. Cheers!
My pleasure, yes a lot of the classics are seen as overplayed but they are a great place to start building a repertoire.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
its so nice tune, very joyful. love it so much and I love to learn with your playalong
Hi Zafarhyd5044, thanks very much for your comment, glad you are enjoying the video!
I never knew about this tune, there's a song called Rattlin Bog for it. I think its the same ?
Yeah, Rattlin Bog can go nicely with the Kerry Polka!
Thats funny you mention that as I always play Kerry Polka and Rattlin Bog together as a set.
