Living in Maryland, Angelos doesm't care. So long as he's making money, he will keep on acting this way. Even if Angelos isn't making money. he has a Plan B; namely moving the team to Nashville. There's a reason the Orioles haven't extended their lease.
Preach. The tea leaves have said this for years. Fans don't want to believe it. The Orioles want another two-year lease because Angelos hasn't or can't line up a 'Braves deal in Cobb County' but he wants out because the Baltimore revenue ceiling is low and getting lower as the city deteriorates.
Likely just want the announcers to say just positive things about your team, not anything negative to ruin the good season we're having. I think was the motive in all this, but Kevin Brown got screwed big time.
Orioles ownership is a disgrace. Will do their best to ruin a good thing they have on the field. Never mind, not pay their young stars or lock them up (like Braves did) to long term contracts.
