My Mum lived near Porthleven and would take us there as children. My Nan worked at the caravan park at Praa Sands and then as a cook at St. Michaels Mounts. I never take Cornwall for granted. You're videos are gorgeous.
Your choice of locations, camera angles, lenses, time of day and even use of time-lapse for one clip certainly conveyed a clear idea of the strength of this storm.
The first clip with the church in the forefront is Porthleven. It faces south west straight into the prevailing south westerly gales. Always a go to for dramatic wave footage.
Brave are those who stand outside in this and so near close to the sea front dangerous waves. Why when they could be inside indoors warm dry safe away from the Dangerous Harm Damage and destruction that also comes with those waves. Family's who dont value there life's of just how special it is and how valuable. Why would any Adults even go outside to watch this without even taken into account considering about there own safety and there Childrens safety. What they couldnt watch it from inside the safty of a secured tight solid strong firm Building away from the front where its dangerous and no one shouldn't be out in. Its no fun excitement when it turns to those waves crashng in on full force flooding the housing schemes homes causing serious dangerous damage destruction and taken many Adults and Children's life's. When death calls its only to collect the dead and he dosnt waste time and wont ever play around. Now are there warning signs up and around to alert warn Familys with Babies and Children and those staying on there own. And theres those outside taken risks chances playing with Death. Those waves of destruction and flooding and damage dont ever never not play around. They dont care what and who they take Adults and Children off all ages.
It’s called life experience and knowing and feeling alive…. Just because you are scared and lack common sense doesn’t mean you have to project that onto others.
@@briumphbimbles Thank you for that as it means so much for me to understand better now. That's something I've never ever experienced with living in the City. Cornwall is very nice Beautiful and I can see why many love to go there for great brilliant fantastic holidays. I've not ever never had the chance to visit yet. I guess if I was Born there and raised up there I would for sure definitely learn and do my best to remain alive than end up dead. One day if when I end up with a Big Lottery win then and only then I could might possibly probably pay a visit to this beautiful place that many talk about with many great brilliant fantastic times they had there. So I can experience what it's like.
@@thomasduffmcgready-zb3yt I wasnt born there but lived there for over a decade (including in Porthleven) and my immediate family still lives there so have been reasonably well indoctrinated. I do agree though, its easy to take it for granted when you are there but once you are not you remember its worth.
@encyclopractica That's what I was lacking very badly with not so sure and thanks again it's much more clear in my head now. That's what many of us do need as it helps to guide learn and keep us all safe. As knowledge of understanding in what to do and when to do it. Then I could finally be able to go watch those High Waves same as many others without the panic paranoia Horn going of very loud.
So when does the threat to life come still waiting why dont you report the real reason we are getting this weather but you cant cause you have been paid not to
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for posting this.

Beautiful and humbling experience. The enduring force of nature against the endearing spirit of humanity. Wonderful.
Porthleven never disappoints in a storm.
Its a shame its not summer we could have watched some emmet thinking the peer was a perfect vantage point to watch the waves.
One of the most iconic vantage points in the UK, to watch a storm from!
Emmet . Haven't heard that for a while
I think we are looking at Porthleven!

Beautiful green blue sea.
Ah summer in Cornwall what are the winters like 😂.
Thank you for sharing 👍
So gorgeous and beautiful
Blimey
The sea is quite turbulent.
Where in Cornwall please?
I believe it’s at Porthleven, praa sands, marazion, newlyn and Penzance
It's a country on Englands rugged southwestern tip, forming a peninsula.
@@osos131 That wasn't the question, and its' a county not a country!

When you live in Cornwall you quickly learn a reverence of the sea ... or you don't and die.

Do your homework . There have been gales like this before the industrial revolution. The Cornwall Guide is only reporting
real reason is it is winter.
I admit everything. I went out and filmed the weather and got paid by George Soros and the Wokerati. 🤡
🙌🙌🙌 he is in the matrix still!
