Storm Isha, Cornwall - Day 2 - Huge Waves & Sunshine

- Storm Isha hit Cornwall in the middle of Sunday / Monday night. I didn't really fancy getting up at 2am in the rain to film it at its peak. However there was plenty left over on Monday morning and not only had the wind dropped but the sun was shining.
The swell hadn't dropped much from Sunday night and there were some huge waves. I headed west - practically to Lands End. The waves must have been pushing 20 feet off Sennen and they were pretty spectacular at Porthcurno.
If in any doubt about the size of some of these waves, look for the birds. When you see one of the little white dots skimming up the face of a wave you can tell how huge it is.
I also headed over to Cape Cornwall - one of my favourite storm watching spots.
Storm Jocelyn incoming...
I love the Cornish coast ❤
The mighty Atlantic powerful yet beautiful ❤
best time to be at the coast
thank you
Been great to see this, stunning waves, although all effects of the storm its SO relaxing & the sound of the waves SO refreshing, good footage & photography, thank you watching from North East 👏👏🌟🌝☀️🌊🌊🥳
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you 🙏
Dont think id wanna sleep in that house with those waves outside😮
Actually you can see the house from another angle at 2:05 and it's a long way above the sea. Still looks good from the right angle 😉
My beautiful Cornwall ❤️
That is a great watch, I would love to film days like this with my drone but it’s always too windy, brilliant 👍
Some nice storm studies in there.
I walked that section in the 2022 "heatwave" there was barely a ripple in the ocean I would of loved to have been there today, stunning :)
It's spectacular whatever the weather, but I do love days like this with barely another soul to be seen.
Beautiful Atlantic sea 🌊
Stay safe
Incredible. Cornwall has some coastal similarities to Northern California.
Looks pretty rugged and stunning along that N Pacific stretch. Beautiful, but I'm glad we don't get the sharks!
Best thing in Cornwall is the train station out of there..
